    I have always loved zombie stories and especially YA paranormal reads....this was no exception! It was very fast paced and kept you engrossed from page 1. Being a short story it didn't really get into any depth of the characters. Normally that would be disappointing, but knowing more books will follow gave me something to look forward to hopefully learning more about each character. The concept behind the story was not completely original...meaning it stuck to similar zombie outbreak stories, but at the same time was very enjoyable. I give it 4 stars. I would have given 5, but I felt the overall book had too many holes in it. Saying that I hope some of those holes will be filled in the next book!

    I was given this book to read and give my honest opinion.

    I was never into the zombie thing, till I read this book. Candy give you a feel of what the survivors are thinking and feeling, not just a bunch of dead people running around trying to stay alive. If you have never read a zombie book, this is one that may change your mind. The life of Charise has been changed drastically in one day. She becomes an immune zombie, and a leader of sorts to other survivors. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

    i really dont know why i finished this it was so painful but i had to see who made it. started off ok till i got 1/4 of the way through. so glad i didnt buy this & that it was free or i wouldnt of been very happy. dont make the same mistake i did.
