Tell No Lies (Oyster Point Thriller Book 2) Kindle Edition
"Crosby serves up suspense, secrets and Southern scandal like no one else!" —Harlan Coben, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author
New York Times bestselling author Tanya Anne Crosby returns to the salt marshes and crumbling plantations of Charleston, where a gruesome murder and kidnapping reawaken fears of a serial killer on the loose. . .
Augusta Aldridge believes in Ian Patterson's innocence, even after he was arrested for killing two young women. She was with him the night one of the crimes occurred, hidden in the shadows beneath a beachside pier, locked in a wild, unthinking embrace with a man whose dangerous fascination may have fatally lured other victims. Now that another body has been discovered, and a thirteen-year old boy has gone missing, the police suspect a copycat killer, but Augusta is certain they have the wrong man. She's going to risk her reputation—and her life—to prove Ian’s innocence and save young Cody. But the clock is ticking…

- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018I just loved this final book in “The Aldridge Sisters” series! I read books 1& 2, and “Leave No Trace”. TNL pulled all the characters from the other two books together, and redefined the plotlines. The characters were realistic and believable; the sisters were likeable, and the reader is able to laugh, cry, and love with them. Ms. Crosby’s writing style has a lyrical quality as she describes in detail the sounds, sights, and smells of the lowcountry of South Carolina. This novel was part romantic suspense, part mystery, part psychological drama.
For some reason, I was able to identify the murderer when I was about 25% through the novel. The author didn’t give any clues away until the very end, but I had a “feeling” it was this particular individual.
I recommend reading all three of these books. They’re well worth the time and money. I’m reading “The Girl Who Stayed” next.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2016I read the first book "Speak No Evil" and when done immediately bought "Tell No Lies" as I couldn't put it down. These books are a must read for anyone who likes Romance, Crime, Thriller, or books about serial killers. The action just never stops and it's very well written. Tanya you did a fabulous job! The story was so real, it drew you in and kept you . Thank You so much
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2016Old Southern mansion fallen into decay from disuse, a promise of restoration to its former glory by its wealthy owners, secrets emerging of hidden deadly murders by disturbed relatives--truly a movie-worthy and suspenseful gothic tale. It is accompanied by numerous sales pitches promoting two more novels in this setting, but, for me, once is enough of these self-absorbed moneyed people and their beloved swamps.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2014Having edited Tanya's book Highland Fire, I know all too well how fantastic her writing style is. In Tell No Lies, she doesn't disappoint - it's terrifyingly good! A murder mystery set in Charleston, with its mossy oaks and Georgian plantation homes, Tell No Lies is full of gloomy ambiance. I honestly could not read the book while alone, at night, or anywhere remotely dark. It's got a Southern Gothic feel to it with plenty of twists, turns, and chills!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2014What lengths would you be willing to go to get your share of 37 million dollars worth of inheritance money? Well, turns out pretty much about anything. Even if it means spending time with your estranged family, and letting your dead mother control your family’s actions from beyond the grave.
Of the three sisters, 34 year old Augusta Aldridge is the middle child, the one who gets saddled with restoring the family home. Each of the three siblings gets a task to be fulfilled within a year, which had to be done with the three of them living together in the same house for the duration. Though Tell No Lies does read as a standalone, I think I did miss out on vital aspects of the back story by having jumped straight to reading the second book in the Aldridge Sisters series.
Ian Patterson, falsely accused of the series of gruesome murders that had rocked the headlines of this small town had been a priest before, someone who had been genuinely willing to take on his vow of celibacy because that’s what he had thought he had wanted to be. However, all that changes due to events that had propelled him to travel to Secessionville to seek answers for the questions to which the law enforcement are hard pressed to answer. Being falsely accused of committing the murders, Ian is almost at that point of helplessness when Augusta comes to his rescue.
Augusta knows in her heart that Ian couldn’t have murdered those women. But what if she was wrong? The one point that works in Ian’s favor is the fact that when the last murder had been carried out, they’d been together, lost in a swirl of desire that Augusta craves to taste again. But fear of the repercussions her actions might bring to her family prevents her from coming forward while the real killer continues to hold another victim to toy with.
Tanya Anne Crosby is a new to me author. But right from the start, Tanya’s ease with the words drew me in and I was engrossed in this tale of family secrets, murder and a searing attraction that continued to wreak havoc on my emotions. The only regret that I truly had was that I hadn’t read the first book in the series, Speak No Evil. If you are hearing about this book for the first time, I would definitely recommend that you read book 1 for a more wholesome experience.
As I was reading I couldn’t help but wonder why authors have stopped writing romantic suspense the likes of this one. Some of my favorite reads in the genre have been based in the South, the setting itself lending a charm and a sultry edge to the story that one is hard pressed to find these days. I am definitely going to check out more books by Tanya! Recommended for fans of romantic suspense.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spine Tingling Suspense
An absolute page turning, spine tingling suspense at its best. I am so very pleased that I have discovered the author to this series, Tanya Anne Crosby. The Aldridge sister's are back in their family home for the reading of their mother's will, none too happy to be there. The three sisters will receive a share in a 27 million dollar inheritance if they complete their late mother's instructions and stay in the family home for 12 months. Lies, deceipt, murder and missing people. Highly recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars couldnt wait for the end
This was a continuation of the story about the sisters on the old plantation and was for the most part a good read, I had guessed who the killer was halfway through but it was still a good story, there was so much description throughout the three books then the third book ended so suddenly!! it was as if the writer ran out of time and just had to end the story to make the deadline, it could have been stretched out just a little bit more to finish out the trilogy but overall a good read .
