- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2020This was an interesting read - a set of fictional essays from ten dysfunctional families. Then Betrayal is the fictional fallout from writing said essays. It's a clever idea really, one that I found interesting in the first book but then I (curiouser and curiouser) almost HAD to read Betrayal to read the responses. They are not 'novels' in the stereotypical sense of the word, think more short stories. I enjoyed each unique 'essay' and that person's response.
I recommend these books for readers 18 and older.
