    I have been on a reading binge to finish all of K. Aten's books so it was a no brainer to read "Running from Forever." I was captivated with this book right from the beginning and I did not want to put it down. This book was by FAR the fastest reading speed that I have ever read anything - ever! I very much enjoyed the story and the intimacy of the characters. K .Aten is an excellent writer and my favourite parts of the authors books are the love scenes, which are very descriptive and erotic. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a beautiful love story. Now, on to "Embracing Forever."

    This is more erotica and romance then serious plot. But I found it enjoyable and well written.Noble is a vampire but can she get sarah to understand that the two are meant to be? Admittedly I did find Sarah's commitment issues frustrating but I did like the story overall

    WOW! This is THE HOTTEST paranormal story I have EVER seen and OMG is it AMAZING!!! Sarah is a musician/singer with major commitment issues. She’s fast, footloose and fancy free. One night stands are her norm and she’s always up for new adventures. Her sister Annie on the other hand has a stable job she loves, is finishing school and is waiting for Ms Right. Nobel Keller is Annie’s boss and manages the hottest gay bar around. She’s the strong, silent type with a reputation for loving them and leaving them but no one has ever complained. However, she is not just what she seems to be. She is seriously attracted to Sarah and it’s not just one sided. Add in the lovely Jess to keep time with Annie and you have the makings of a most unique tale! None of these women are the weak, damsel in distress type. They are strong, independent, smart and determined. Good thing because surprises are in store for these women and their lives as they know them will never be the same again! There is a lot that goes on in this book, a lot and its so good!! I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! The story is fantastic! It grabs you and takes you on the most amazing adventure. There are vampires, werewolves and humans. There is drama and dancing, murder and mayhem, love and lust and so much more all wrapped up in this great drama. The descriptions and settings are unbelievably wonderful and interesting, the characters beyond stellar and sexy, the romance sweet and the heat level of the book, well, yeah…. Maybe it’s not the best idea to read this in public…. Just a thought. You won’t be able to read this book fast enough and I hated to put it down even for just a little while. I was hooked from the start and needed more of these words like I need air to breathe. I cannot wait for part two but I will need to go to the Dr to make sure my heart is strong enough to handle it! <3

    Wow! The heat was positively sizzling off the page. ‘Running From Forever’ has to be one of the hottest, most intensely erotic books I have ever read. The story of commitment-phobic singer Sarah and mysterious club-owner Keller is also a brilliant tale of love, longing and emotional fervour. It is an urban fantasy that veers very much into other genres – but it would be giving away too much to say which. I was completely bowled over by the slowly, skilfully built up story and it just got better and better as it went on. The relationship between Sarah and Keller was complicated – and the issue causing them problems was one that Sarah had to take her time coming to terms with. Her sister Annie was her rock and the interaction between the sisters was powerful and loving. Sarah’s bond with her was forged through tragedy and it was a major factor in every decision she had to make. But it was the chemistry between the two main characters that really gripped me. The sex was off-the-scale and one particular scene was so wonderfully envisaged that a cold shower will be in order after reading it. This is the first book I have read by K Aten, but it certainly will not be the last. I love her style and her skill at getting inside the minds of her characters. I can highly recommend ‘Running From Forever’.

    Oh yeah! K. Aten has done it again! She has given me the kind of steamy, "gotta leave work now to take a cold-water bath" kinda paranormal romance story. I have read the majority of this author's books and I can boldly say that her writing has never let me down because I have always been able to lose myself in the realistic worlds she creates. I got to have my cake and eat it as well because this story has all of my favorite themes! What could be better than having a romance/paranormal/urban fantasy/erotica all wrapped up in one neat package? For me, there's nothing better than that. With each new release, I will always say that this author has reached the pinnacle of her talent yet she will always find a way to leave me lost for words and trapped in a serious book hangover. Sarah and Nobel have become one of my favorite couples in lesfic because those sex scenes had me squirming at my work desk and I clearly remembered taking several cold showers while I was devouring this book at home. I'm anxious to read the next book in the series (no pressure!)
