    Although not a genre I would normally read, I was pleasantly surprised. The author’s command of detail and character development kept the story moving from start to finish. That is a must when reading a book by an author new to me. The best part of this author’s style is the discovery, Carl one of the character discovers he is gay and tells it to his father in front of the police. His father devastated the news of his son’s sexual preference, it is rather biological tendencies towards the same sex attractions. The story is real like you are watching a movie and interacting with the characters.
    Although this is part of a series it can certainly and successfully stand in its own. Well written and up to date language used. deserves five star.

    Landon's Desire is certainly not your typical erotica romance novel. Set in a nightclub, it tells the story of Landon and Carl. This is the third book in the Pulse series and you continue to see all the main characters from the first two installments but the focus is on Landon and Carl. Landon's past comes back to haunt him in many ways during this story. Landon is definitely an alpha male and has to try to win over Carl who just isn't sure what he wants. I love watching the interactions between all the characters in this book and how they react to one another. The scene setting was a little lacking and I had a hard time picturing the characters but the story itself was good. I felt there were times when it was a little slow or drawn out but I loved the ending scene. Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone and does have an HEA.

    I loved this book from start to finish! Well developed characters and storyline, sexy main characters, and a fine mix of secondary characters. I was hooked from the get go, Landon and Carl had such chemistry, both having secrets and issues to deal with, but oh so worth it! I really liked the way their relationship developed, and how they came together to be there for each other when needed. I reallybloved the way the book ended, showing us a span of time with them. Well done!!

    Landon Kyle and Carl Ward have been skirting around each other for a while now and things are finally coming to a passionate and sexy head! They both work at the Pulse nightclub, with this security chief and bartender now closer than ever to figuring out what actually is between them.
    Landon is sexy and confident in the way only someone truly comfortable in his own skin can be. And he will need to be self-assured as Carl battles him, and his own desires. Carl is not ready to admit he is attracted to men, to Landon, so things are going to get very, very complicated – and heated – before all is said and done…

    Landon and Carl are delicious together as their courtship is a very sexy back and forth. Landon feels he knows what is in Carl’s heart and tries to coax him out of his denial and into the truth, one loving caress and kiss at a time. Both of them have secrets though and as they are slowly revealed, they both help and hinder the closeness that is starting to form.

    I love Landon’s absolute certainty in what he wants and the way he loves, and treats, the friends and family in his life. The way he loves Carl and refuses to allow him to live in a half-life made him pushy in the best way possible. His special relationship with Mik had me smiling, and teary, at times as the love between them was so special.

    All in all, this was my favourite in the series as the emotions and arrows to the heart just kept coming. With an epilogue that had just the right, feel good touch, this story deserves five deliciously satisfying stars!

    Another well written story, this one about Landon and the love of his life, Carl. Just like any other couple, personal insecurities and past traumas challenge the budding relationship between two people. Carl is not comfortable in his own skin and Landon is plagued with guilt and remorse for the death of his lover and partner from a police incident years ago. There is mystery and suspense with the possibility of danger when a certain dark and twisted powerful man seeks to control and own Landon. Of course no love match is safe from the jealousy bug. It was a joy to be caught up in the trials and tribulations of Landon's love story and to peek into the lives of other friends and family members from previous books in this series. In the end of the series, everyone gets a happily ever after. Who could ask for more? I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.

    This is definitely not one of my normal reads, but i do have to say it was really good. It had it's suspenseful parts, but it didn't have as much suspense as the first two books in the series. I would have given it a five star rating, but I had to give it a four. It had great detail and the characters were wonderfully drawn out, but it seemed like some points were more drawn out. It didn't flow very smoothly throughout entire story, because of those more drawn out parts.
    I saw a review on here about the author writing about bisexuals the wrong way, but the only thing I read in this work was Rex and how his bisexual behavior was, not all bisexuals.
    The story of Landon and Carl is much like a normal male/female relationship, but the only difference being they are both males.
    I was given an ARC for my honest review.

    I loved this book . Landon was a sweetheart and I completely fell in love with him. Landon is an ex cop who had a lot of guilt over a death of his partner. Carl is man who struggled with who he was. He is grumpy but he wears his heart on his sleeve. I found the plot believable and the characters were likeable. I definitely recommend this story
