Jennifer Rose author of The Pulse Series, in essence, eats, sleeps and breaths romance.     I enjoyed reading ...The characters ,the story line was intense .All the situations were true to life .The scenes played out vividly and captured my imagination.I am a firm reader in terms of erotica and was overwhelmed by the drama..I can't wait to get started on the other 2 books in this series ..Jennifer Rose did a great job in capturing my attention ..Will surely recommend this book

    Eden Fox and Chase Dean have more in common than just the business contract between them. Chase is the CEO of a large construction company that has contracted the company Eden works for. With the “no fraternization” clause between them, working with, and for, him was going to be complicated given their brief, but already explosive, relationship. Forgetting passion and heat like that is impossible but she has to try to keep him at arm’s length for the sake of her career. Chase doesn’t make that easy for her. Not one little bit…

    Chase is determined to push the ‘no pleasure with business rule’ and will use any way possible to make sure Eden doesn’t forget what they had and what they could have… Chase was rich, handsome and alpha all the way through. He did seem a bit pushy at times and the “you don’t need a safe word” didn’t sit right at all. Luckily, his feelings for Eden helped alleviate some of the overhanded behavior. Having more insight into why they felt so strongly for each other, other than the obvious physical reasons, would have made these likable characters even better.

    This is my first book by this author and the first in this series was a good start. The story is an enticing mix of suspense and love which switches from funny to serious to sexy on a dime. Pulse is at the core of it all as Eden and Chase try to work through the issues between them as well as those caused by others. Friends and family add even more emotion, humour and conflict to the mix. At times helpful, and other times, well, sometimes you want to throat-punch the ones you love… In jest, of course. Yes, of course, in jest…

    Such a well written book. A love story that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Eden & Chase are the ultimate pair. You have a woman running from a past and afraid to let down walls. You have a man that is falling for a woman who has a set of rules that makes it impossible to have her. You won't want to put the book down. Just watch this journey and wait for the end.

    Ms. Rose weaves a lovely tale about the journey of Eden and Chase toward healing, redemption and love. Eden comes from a background of domestic abuse. Once she escaped that horror, she took control of her life, pours herself into her career, keeps a distance from everyone, controls every aspect of life in order to not feel and thus protect herself. Chase has his demons too and he also demands he be in control at all times. So, these two strong control freaks meet and the chemistry between them is so electric, they begin their dance of give & take, push & pull. All very entertaining. Then, a dramatic hostage situation provides intense, edge of your seat suspense. We are also treated to a investigative detective that bears a striking resemblance to Colombo. Seeing Chase & Eden deal with their demons, survive the challenges that life brings them and mature enough to find love made this book a pure joy to experience. I was give an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.

    I Loved the story of Chase and Eden. All of the things that Eden went through psychology before she ever meets Chase and how he is determined to help her through it. Eden is determined not to ever be in a relationship again and so is Chase. But Mik a friend of Eden's sees the way these two,look at one another and helps push them a little. Well Eden is determined not to have a fling with Chase after she begins working for his company afraid of getting fired well Chase doesn't care he wants her and will stop at nothing to get her. When he finds out about someone after her. He takes every precaution to keep her safe. Well does he succeed and can these two,get past the fears they have about relationships and find the love that they have both been looking for?

    This is the first book in this series that all center around a club called Pulse. In this book, we meet Eden and Chase. Eden designs and Chase is the man out to steal her heart and protect it all at the same time. Without giving away too much of the book, there is trouble out there looking for Eden, and Chase is the man who vows to keep that trouble from getting anywhere near her, all the while vowing to never let her go. This book will really suck you in and keep you coming back for more and luckily for me and for millions of other readers, this book was only the beginning….

    Eden's Pleasure starts off with a bang right from the get-go. Eden and Chase meet at a business function and hit it off right away. Things just continue from there and one situation feeds right into the next. A lot of things happening in this story but the flow didn't seem to match what was going on. I felt that a lot of the narrative and internal dialogue could have been cut out. Besides that, the story has just the right amount of danger, love, passion, hot sex, great friends, work complications and different locations. The characters are well developed and are likeable. Except for the dragon lady. Speaking of her, I felt like there was something missing with that one. I kept expecting something to happen with her character and instead she just kind of fades away. Odd. I loved Mikela and Mason and hope to see more of them in the next installment of this series. The story is told from both main characters' perspectives but mainly from Eden's and does a great job building the relationship up to the book ending. This can be read as a stand alone but is part of a series and does have an HEA.

    Great book by a new author who will go a long way. This book has its twists and turns with an ending that made me shed a tear, and that doesn't happen often. So go out buy this book or download it and enjoy the read.
