About the Author

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of 5. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne - not necessarily in that order.
Her sweet and steamy science fiction stories focus on hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can't resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.

As soon as I delved into the pages of "Mamma and the Alien Warrior," I knew I was in for a beautiful and touching journey. This captivating story, centered around the concept of found family, swept me away into a world where love knows no boundaries.

The plot unfolds with a group of women, each with their precious babies, being kidnapped, only to be saved by a crew of valiant warriors fighting against slavery. At the heart of this tale is Abigail, a strong and compassionate woman who opens a maternity home for young moms, providing them with guidance and support to help prepare them for the challenges of motherhood. In many ways, Abigail's role echoes that of Hrebic, the alien warrior, who nurtures and protects his young crew members.

One of the book's most poignant aspects is Abigail's emotional struggle as she returns to Earth with the rescued girls and their babies, all of whom have already formed deep bonds with Hrebic's crew. The women find themselves in a situation where they are loved, cherished, and kept safe by these honorable men who are willing to sacrifice everything to protect them. This conflict between returning to what is familiar and embracing newfound love and security forms the heart-wrenching emotional core of the story.

The authors skillfully portray the idea of mate bonds, going beyond the conventional notions of frenzy mating to showcase the power of softness, cuddling, and intimate moments in strengthening the bond between mates. It is a refreshing and heartwarming perspective that adds depth to the romance within the story.

The book culminates in a delightful and satisfying ending, where the theme of found family shines brightly. The bond formed between the women, their babies, and the alien warriors is a testament to the strength of love and the resilience of the human spirit. It left me with a warm feeling and a renewed appreciation for the power of family, whether it is biological or chosen.

"Mamma and the Alien Warrior" is a perfect read, especially for Mother's Day. It blends elements of romance, adventure, and the warmth of family to create a story that tugs at your heartstrings. The authors' ability to evoke a wide range of emotions, from heartache to joy, is truly commendable.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend "Mamma and the Alien Warrior" to anyone seeking a sweet and beautiful tale of found family and the enduring power of love. It is a book that celebrates motherhood and the bonds that connect us all, transcending the boundaries of species and worlds. Prepare to be moved and uplifted by this heartfelt gem of a story.

    4,5 stars

After a few emotional stories, I was in the mood for a light, fun read. I’m glad that I gave this story ‘Mama and the alien warrior’ a chance, both writers were new to me but the story was free when I bought it and the blurb had me intrigued. This story was just what I was looking for, a sweet, steamy and easy to read alien romance story. (I’m already reading the second book in this series!)

The story was told in both POV’s. The main characters were Abigail (Abby) Wentworth and Hrebec Nak’Charen. Abby was a human and Hrebec an alien (he’s a Cire, a race that looked somewhat different from a human being. They had green skin, no hair, big black eyes and a long tail. But they did share the most important physical features with a human – if you know what I mean wink wink) and they may look different, I found Abby and Hrebec to be very similar on the inside. They were both strong and vulnerable in their own way. Both felt responsible for others. Abby had adopted her niece (the daughter of her half-sister) and established a home for single mothers, focusing primarily on young girls who were pregnant and had no means or family to care for them. Hrebec was captain of a space ship and felt responsible for his crew, most of them were young and looked up to him. Both, Abby and Hrebec were very mature and used to making decisions for others.

Each of them had also their heart broken but in different ways. Abby was disappointed by her father as a child and later by her ex-boyfriend. Both left her when she needed them, so she was a bit distrustful of men. Hebrec's home planet Ciresia was one of the many planets where the terrible disease called the Red Death took many lives, but to make it extra tragic the Cire women were extra vulnerable to it and all the women on Ciresia died of it. The remaining men of Ciresia were now desperate for a way to survive. After many years of working in a lab, Hrebec lost hope and so he left Ciresia and became a captain. Hrebec never thought he would ever find a mate so he’s very shocked when he discovered that Abby, a human, was his mate. The connection between Abby and Hrebec was intense and the sex scenes were steamy and very interesting with Hebrec’s tail that loved nothing more than to touch Abby in many, different ways. (The tail was a nice addition not only in the sex scenes but also in the everyday life scenes. I loved the tail!!)

But not only the bond between Abby and Hrebec was strong. From the moment that Abby discovered a female Cire baby on board of the first ship (that kidnapped not only her but also her niece, the pregnant girls and their babies) Abby felt very protective of the alien baby. And so did Hebrec when he met Abbby’s niece Lucie. It was so sweet and emotional to see how both adults and the two children form a small family. Hebrec may be a big, muscled warrior but he was very gentle, patient and caring with the children and the kidnapped girls.

The secondary characters were interesting too. You had the young girls under Abby’s care, the pregnant girls Molly and Amber and the girls who already had their baby, TeShawna, Cassie and Elaina. They had each their own personality, dreams and fears. I liked them all very much. They were courageous, flexible, strong, vulnerable and compassionate. I was happy that they found a new home for themselves. The crew of Hebrec’s ship existed of good and respectful Cire guys. The young guys were very curious about the women and the babies (they hadn’t much experience with them). A few of the human girls caught the interest of a few of the older Cire guys (Mekoi, Jedan, Ribel and Inzen) too. It was great to see how each of them reacted to the other.

The story had an epilogue too and I loved it!

I really enjoyed this story and I will definitely read more stories in this series.

Really enjoyable read with minimal angst.
I loved how there were a couple of other budding relationships going on in the background while the main romance was developing (and that they weren't all romantic relationships). I especially liked that all of the relationships were part of this book's storyline instead of a new book being written for each couple.

The well founded characters, fleshed out storyline, steamy sex scenes, tender family relationships, and strong female MC (not to mention sexy aliens!), I loved it all! Excellent scifi, can't wait to start the next one!
