Michelle Hughes is an American author who writes contemporary romance. She was awarded a Kindle Press contract for her 2017 release, Cowboy Sanctuary, and has 29 other books self-published. Hughes studied journalism at Jefferson State college. Prior to a career in publishing she worked as a respiratory therapist. Michelle was also a Nashville recording artist who performed under the stage name, Regina Michelle.

Her continuing book publications include the Tears of Crimson series, Fantasy’s Bar & Grill series, and the You Don’t Know Jack series. Well known single book titles include, Five Nights, Rude, and Sin. A new series released September 3rd, 2018 is Fantasy Isle a continuation of the Fantasy’s Bar & Grill series.

    I enjoyed reading about Katy and Travis. Katy is a strong woman, who has come back home to face a man who she's been in love with since she was a young girl. He might have broken her heart when he turned her feelings away before but now she's not going to let him treat her the same way again. As for Travis? Well, Travis had stronger feelings for Katy than he felt he should have since he's so much older than her and he was right about walking away from her then. But neither one of them counted on their feeling getting even stronger than before.💗🔥💕

    This second book of the Dixon series is just as intense as the first one. The story is about another Dixon brother who also is the town Sheriff. Strange occurrences and full fledged attacks are taking place throughout the Dixon land. They are being attacked on all sides. A very suspenseful read, full of action.

    This is the second book in the series but can easily be read as a standalone. Who does not love a good cowboy romance? This is a really good well-written book with good likable characters and plenty of twists to keep you hooked. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this series

    I love a strong female lead and Katy was exactly that. There were nefarious games afoot at the ranch and that provided the mystery and foundation for the relationship between Travis and Kate to grow. The sparks between them were electric and, for me, were the highlight of the story. I’ve read a few books by this author – not the first in this series though which I wish I’d read first – and this is my favourite so far!

    I absolutely loved Katy. Talk about a feisty, strong female. Katy returns to Bandera, Texas to prove she can handle being a deputy, in a male dominated profession. The current sheriff is Travis Dixon and Katy had a schoolgirl crush on him. Travis is even hotter now. Will Katy and Travis become more than friends or will she get with a different Dixon? I sure hope we get more books in this series, hint, hint Michelle Hughes. We need books for those sexy cousins too. If you enjoy steamy cowboy books, then you need to grab your copy of Cowboy Renegade.
