The strength of Shocked comes from the extraordinary voice of Kat, the protagonist. The novel is told in her 1st person POV, and you get lost in her combination of innocence and strength. She is a very easy character to relate to, everyone is or knows someone like Kat. You'll have to ignore the cover art. The cover makes her look like some sexy, powerful woman. She's not. She's a tiny thing, full of the insecurities and emotions of any other teen. I could see her someday becoming the woman on the cover, but not yet.

Shocked is more of a transitional novel than a standalone. There's no real climax at the end, although there is a subplot that resolves nicely. If anything, it makes me hungry for the final installment, where all the work that Kat and her cohorts have done finally come to a head.

I suggest picking up the first novel in the series, Charged, before you tackle this one. I'm looking forward to the completion of the trilogy.

I finished book one yesterday and couldn't wait to get my hands on book two. Now, I am itching for book three. This series is incredible. I love Casey Harvell's work. The imagery in her novels creates a movie in my head rather than just words on a page. It is incredibly well-written and the characters are relatable. I am anxiously awaiting book three to find out what happens.

This T&YA Dystopian is enigmatic. After reuniting with her friends, Kat learns something which almost crushes her. Thus, she focuses on using her energy control to defeat the growing enemy of nanobots. The unit's first mission is to deactivate the nuclear reactors in the Western United States. During this, they find evidence that changes their understanding of the activities of their two enemies.

Kat undergoes enormous emotional stress, from keeping her friends safe to the salvation of Earth, which comes across clearly from the story. However, she also experiences plenty of encouraging situations. Overall, the story moved forward in a promising manner.

Part of "The Electric Series Box Set: Charged, Shocked & Wired."

*This Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review*

Amazing Book! I couldn't put this one down as well and I have to commend Casey Harvell for her incredible imagery and creativity in this story! it was simply amazing! I couldn't get enough of it!

The adventure in this one is astounding! they are never not on the move in this one fliting from place to place trying to save the world and the people in it. We get to meet an amazing new character in this one Lucas who turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to the story. Brie, Mason, and Jared are all still there as well as all the others and it make for a interesting and harrowing tale. Baby Bear is still going strong in this one as well and still my fav of all the characters! hands down!...lol

I can't wait for the bad guys to come to a head in the next one as I am sure will be the most exciting to date! the bad guys or infection of nano in this book is incredible! and Casey's imagery has it down so well you feel as if you are right there running among the people fighting for their lives, it is fabulous! and totally creepy...lol

I can't get enough of this series and I can't wait to read the next book! get you copy today!
