Mia Jones was born and raised in Iowa and still resides there with her husband and children. She’s an author of contemporary romance novels and devotes hours to creating steamy novels with happy endings that she hopes entertain people, make them laugh and sometimes cry, but always ends the book feeling good.

Mia started writing when she was thirteen. She found writing was a way to comfort herself during her rough teenage years, and she never stopped. It was only when her mother and sister pushed her did she finally send in a novel, and to her surprise, people enjoyed it and asked for more.

You can usually find her at her home in the country surrounded by her family and many animals and the majority of the time in her quiet little office, conjuring up whole new interesting families and communities.

Some of Mia’s favorite things are spending time with her family, her dogs, riding horses, gardening, cooking, hiking and, of course, writing and reading romance novels.

    I have loved Mia Jones work since the first book I read of hers. In Open Fields, you meet Victoria a small framed women trying to do a mans job. Her uncle she loved dearly has died and she got the ranch she had spent her happiest times. Now, what to do with it. Zane a big man with the ranch next door has his eye on the ranch. Zane takes one look at Victoria and lighting stricks. The two battle it out and Zane has bit off more than he can chew. Victoria is like no other women he has met. If you like happily ever after books you will love Mia Jones's Open Fields.

    Mia strikes again! She switched it up a little in this one and made Zane a true Alpha male. But under that rough rancher skin is a softie. I loved following these two as they work out issues.

    I am a huge fan of Mia Jones and this book has all the qualities that make Mia's books amazing!! You have a strong female who has a vulnerable side, an alpha male who wants what he wants, and a new budding love.

    I loved reading along as Tory and Zane met and maneuvered through their emotions.

    This was a quick read for me and I was left feeling happy. Mia Jones is a very talented author and I look forward to reading more from her!!! Very well done and a very easy five-star read for me!!!
