We each have our own way of talking and listening to the animals. This is how I learned from past experiences with wildlife and pets around me. I love knowing and understanding an animal's point-of-view, especially when they are ill or going through a rough patch--like we all do. Enjoy from another animal lover what I know works for me.

About the Author

Candy O'Donnell was born in Carmichael, California.
At the age of twelve, she wrote her first mini book. Filled mostly with what took place with her mother and her long tedious bout with leukemia. It was a short story told as extra credit when she suffered a sprained ankle and had to be out of school for over two months. School officials refused to believe a word of what she had written until her grandmother, her guardian back then, entered the school with the truth. Everything she had written down was exactly what took place. Unfortunately her mother succumbed to the disease.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in History and Culture. After living with her aunt and uncle for over five years she wished to explore her uncle's Native heritage and did so with vigor. She also has 6 Grad units in Criminal Justice.

    I've been owned by animals all my life and much of what Candy describes here I've already been doing intuitively and through trial and error for years. I can testify to the fact that her suggestions and methods are sound and they work. What comes through beautifully in this book is the deep love for animals and the relationship the author enjoys with them. This is the key to communicating with them. Thanks Candy for setting this all out so beautifully and systematically. I've learned quite a few new tricks and reinforced my old ones. For anyone just setting out on a life journey with a companion animal, save yourself a big learning curve and pick the brain of a pro. This is a must read and will help you understand your pet, making both of you happy and content.

    Simply fantastic! Ms. O'Donnell eloquently shares her personal, early experiences with animal communication, and also shares her intuitive gifts in the form of how to initially connect with your animals, what to communicate, and how to receive their answers. As a life long animal lover who has had pets from early childhood to the present day, I am grateful for this book and look forward to applying its message when I "speak" to my two beautiful dogs.
