Nathan Colston has a wild imagination. He lives in a small backwoods town in northern Mississippi. Where he shares his dwelling with his wife, daughter and two dogs. He swears they are out to get him. He spends his days driving across the United States in a truck with eighteen wheels. That is where his imagination took him on a journey to an existence of its own. From the beginning and sadly to the end. But we all know life is a dance one we all face. Luckily we do not dance that dance alone. When he isn't getting lost on some backroad, he can be found bringing to life this existence of his own, if the wife, kid, and dogs aren't dragging him off into who knows what. He said it's a boring ride but a wonderful dance.

    This is a very fascinating book that mixes romance with fantasy, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The author’s writing is very flow-y and at times poetic, which makes the read easy and pleasant.
    There are four main characters throughout the book Stanley and Gloria are the main ones at the beginning of book but then Brittany and Bobby are added as well as more secondary characters. The main ones are fleshed out and developed in a rich and colorful way, and I know I’m interested in learning more about them in the next books.
    Spoiler Alert:
    The reason why this is not a 5 star review is because there is a sort of cliffhanger at the end!

    Wow, this story is definitely a fantastic start to a series.

    This story was nothing like I expected and it really ties into a much grander world. Gloria and Stanely are both fated and cursed in this romantic dance of love that can never be. I have never read anything like this before. The supernatural elements of this story run deep while the human relational elements of these characters we so profound. Love is messy. Love is complicated. And these characters definitely have a wild ride ahead of them.

    I listened to this story over the last week or two and I found myself engrossed in the plot. I have always been a fan of fantasy books, and I love romance so this was a nice melding of the two. The words flowed easy and were captivating. I personally read really fast. So for me, the narrator was very slow, after I speed up the audio it got better. That would be the only complaint I would have about this audio. But, its easily fixed with speeding it up. The performance itself was good, and the story even better. I would recommend this to anyone who loves these types of books. Plus, I really like the cover.

    This is a new author for me as fantasy is not really my genre. Although I had a little trouble following what was going on in the beginning of the story, I quickly got into it and really enjoyed it. It's well written, the characters are charming and easy to like.

    Who doesn’t love fantasy and romance with dancing. Well I for one do. This story really took my breath away. I enjoyed the wonderful chemistry between the two main Characters Stanley & Gloria. Especially when they danced. The author describes their dance moves and emotions so well, you honestly feel like your right there first hand. Brittany & Bobby were also quite interesting as well. Look forward to continuing to read the next installment in this series.

    I really enjoyed this book. The characters and world-building are what I have come to expect from the author. The book flows so easily you do get sucked into it and hang on to find out what is going on with the characters. I can't wait to read the next book as I'd like to know what comes next after that cliffhanger!
