"Elara Dunlin has a hard time as she tries to leave behind her relationship baggage. She has the responsibility of handling a ruthless dictator threatening to ruin the planet despite the turmoil in her heart. Single events change the trajectory of different people's lives. Everyone from Elara to Cyrus and others will face different paths. Despite the hurdles on her path and her own immense fear, Elara forges forward. Can Elara make it out of the abyss? What will come of Cyrus? Does Zenith stand a chance against tenacity and unity?
Buckler's third installment in the Seeker of Time series is definitely a step up from the other two. As the story intensifies and plot thickens so does her writing prowess. Even the reader's relationship with the story and the characters gains depth with every installment and reaches a new high with this third one. There is a lot that was left unresolved from the second installment.
The sheer amount of detail and engagement in this book is simply astounding. The author's prowess with language and imagery is brilliant. She has a talent for creating an easy rapport between the characters and the reader. You will enjoy the pace of the book as well as the adventure that colors every page.
The characters are well developed, with depth and multiple dimensions. Elara is an especially likable character. Her tenacity and positivity are inspiring if not challenging. Cyrus on the other hand is not exactly likable but he serves his purpose pretty well.
It is lovely that while this is a sci-fi story the author also gives the characters a life. You are able to see their lives as regular beings rather than those with huge responsibilities to the planet. As the reader you get a real glimpse into Elara and Cyrus as beings and not just vessels of supernatural powers.
This is a very interesting book. The plot with all its twists and turns is incredibly entertaining not to mention effective at relegating the reader to the edge of their seat. Despite being a book meant for young adults, this book will appeal to everyone.

    J.M does it again!!!!!! The emotional roller coaster that my Elara goes through, is so relatable. The fight scenes are epic, the hot and heavy scene are very well done!!! And laughed with some of my favorite character cried with them and I must say even yelled at some of them as well. This book no correction this series is one you don’t want to pass on. The struggles these characters go through are so real and raw, and you can’t help but relate to them. As the series is wrapped up in passage the ending is so bitter sweet, I had to close the book and take a mental break before I finished the last 2 chapters. So to those of you who have not read this amazing series I ask you this what are you waiting for.

    The 3rd book in the Seeker series, the story just keeps getting better and better. And just when you think you know what's gonna happen...BAM! What a fantastic read! I laughed, I got mad, hell I even teared up for a bit. Such a compelling story, kept me wanting to read more and more. Now I can't wait to see what happens next! If you haven't read any of the series, pick up Seeker. Then Stillness. And when you finally put down Passage, if the next book isn't done, you'll know how I am feeling right now. But something tells me it'll be worth the wait!!

    We’ve come to the end and boy oh boy was this intense. Passage of Time continues right where Stillness of Time leaves off and my emotions are everywhere.

    I want to start off by saying that the only thing keeping me from giving this book 5 stars is Elara. I enjoyed Elara in the first two books but there was something about her in this last one that made me question her thinking and growth as a character. She isn’t my favorite in the series but I found her to be more tolerable in the first two. In Passage of Time she becomes a bit self-absorbed, even during some pretty heavy moments that are crucial to other characters.

    Despite my dislike for Elara in this book (mainly in the first half) I enjoyed this last installment. J.M. Buckler continues to write descriptive scenes that clearly paint a picture in your mind. This story holds your attention with all the action and constantly has you questioning whether you would prefer to be a Lunin or a Solin (Lunin for me!). In this book she also plays with heart-strings that I didn’t think she would begin to pluck at. Some of the characters are hit with dark tribulations that leave you heartbroken and all you want to do is hold them.

    I have wholeheartedly enjoyed seeing J.M’s writing progress in this series. These books were a fun ride and I can’t wait until she release more work. I highly recommend this series to readers you enjoy Sci-fi mixed with fantasy, and a bit of contemporary elements. A well-rounded read.
