Lightning flashed throughout the room, causing me to wince at its closeness. The thunder that followed caused the windows to rattle. “You have no right−”

“You keep saying that, babe.” He ran his lips up and down the side of my neck, causing goose bumps to cover my flesh.

His hand moved to the hem of my dress. I panicked. “Rock−no!” He pulled the wet material until it was bunched at my thighs, and easily prevented my hand from removing his when I’d foolishly tried. “What do you think you’re doing?” I asked in a low tone.

His low rumble against me stimulated certain needs in my body. My hand remained over his as he continued slowly until he’d reached the elastic to my panties. I held my breath, listening to his heavy breathing in my ear. His fingers teased the crease where the elastic rested, before flicking over the small triangle of silk covering my sex. I released a moan of pleasure, my knees buckling.

“You like that.” He stated it as a fact, running his finger over the material. I knew I was wet, and not from the rain. “You always did.” His tongue, teeth, and lips were moving over my skin as he said the words in a tone designed to ramp up the heat. I arched my neck to the side so he had better access. He made a rough sound, taking the edge of my halter top in his teeth and pulling it down my shoulder.

The louder the storm turned outside, the more intense the storm inside me became.

    I had to skip the numerous sex scenes. I don't mind a bit but I could not handle these. The words they used were my hard no. I would skip and then go back to the story. I don't know if these were early work but I read the desert ones and I don't remember it being this bad. Anyway the story line was good so I gave 5 stars....sorry...I know y'all think I am a prude but I just couldnt....🙁

    NO MERCY returns us to the Phantom Riders MC world after the events in the epilogue of HAWK, now that Rock realizes he has avoided the truth for far too long - he wants his baby mama back. And with no mercy in this MC world, he goes after what he wants - his son and Allie back with him - with a single mindedness that could have been scary had Allie not been aware of his alphaness.

    This is a standalone from Phantom Riders: HAWK, just as it is a standalone from the other referenced MC (books) in this story (Wild Marauders MC: LYNCH and Dark Menace MC: STONE) - but if you have the time and inclination, I think that the twist the end of this book takes would be even more appreciated if you've read the other three books. As I've mentioned before in reviews of Tory Richards' MC stories, this is a dark, gritty, no holds barred MC world - so be prepared for lots of sex (public, anal), violence in general, violence (physical and sexual) against women, alcohol and drug use, etc...

    I have to admit that about one-third of the way through the book, it dawned on me that I really didn't like Rock all that much. He got an 18-year old virgin girl pregnant, accused her of cheating on him and freaked out on her when she told him, told her "good riddance" when they had a fight and she left, and then didn't seek her out for THREE MONTHS and expected her to just be there waiting for him. Um, hellooooo a-hole - MOTHERHOOD doesn't wait for male hissy fits to end. Then, after SEVEN YEARS he decides he wants his kid so he hunts her down, tells her repeatedly how she was at fault for leaving and was immature, and says he's taking his kid whether she comes with them or not. It's a good thing that Allie loved him, because me? Not so much. I was definitely Team Allie and hoping she got a few kicks into the babymaker, but alas, it took much longer into the book for her to show her true strength. (By the way - while I would have appreciated MUCH more groveling, I did appreciate Rock finally manning up about halfway through the book.)

    This was a great read; a few inconsistencies that I probably need to go back & do a reread on to see if I misunderstood / misread something, but overall everything and more that I've come to expect from a Tory Richards MC book!

    going on to add a bit of angst to the story . We also get a good bit of Hawk and Audra . Plus the rest of the MC that brings a feeling of club. And family . A really good story line well worth reading .
