Furious (Nomad Outlaws Trilogy Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.8 out of 5 stars 68 ratings

He lost everything that mattered and didn't care if he lived or died, until she came along.

Moody had it all once, and lost it in a heartbeat. Now he goes through life as a cold, heartless nomad. A man to avoid and be afraid of, uncaring that each day could be his last. He gives a fuck about nothing and no one, until an innocent woman appears out of nowhere, unafraid of his fury, challenging his demons, making him want to live again. Is he strong enough to let her into his heart?

Excerpt - "Why did you fire me?" I asked after a while. I was genuinely interested in his answer.

He expelled a heavy breath and released me, stepping away. "You don't belong here." His gaze moved down and up my body, missing nothing, and leaving me melting inside. "In spite of how you're fucking dressed."

I slammed my hands on my hips, about to challenge his statement. "What does that even mean?" I snapped in frustration. "How do I not belong here? I'm a good bartender, and I need that job."

He moved to his desk and leaned against the corner. "You're too fucking innocent, and I don't want to have to worry about some drunk trying to get inside your pussy."

I let out a huff. "Do you have to be so crude?" I really wanted to call him a pig. "And I'm twenty-five and not a virgin, so I think that takes my innocence off the table."

"Not good enough. You look like a fucking teenager, and you're too tiny to hold your own against a man." He crossed his massive arms.

"I've been here for two fucking weeks and nothing has happened!" I said heatedly. "And I seemed to hold my own against you." I knew that was a mistake as soon as the words left my mouth. It was an exaggeration. We both knew that he'd controlled every second of that situation.

He grunted. "I'm hiring a male bartender."

I snorted. "That's discrimination!"

He shrugged. "It's my bar."

I thought for a minute. "You employ other women," I pointed out, trying to control my anger.

His eyes moved over me long and hard, until I was squirming uncomfortably. I got the feeling that he could see right through my clothes, and my body began to react accordingly, against my will. I didn't want to be attracted to him, he was an unfeeling brute. But I couldn't deny that my nipples were hardening and a fire was building in my core under his dark, lustful look.

"You want to strip?"

"Sure," I said, lying through my teeth.

"Then strip and show me what you got."

Ohmygod! I hadn't expected that. What had I gotten myself into? I wasn't a stripper. I would never take my clothes off for money. But something in Beckett James' smugness, the dark challenge in his cold eyes, had pushed my buttons and caused me to react without thinking. Now I'd backed myself into a corner, and I could either tell him to go to hell and stomp out of there, or I could take my clothes off. The longer the silence stretched between us, the more I hated him and the self-satisfaction on his rugged features.

And then I thought of something, tossing his smugness right back into his face. "Are you hiring me?" I challenged.

His mouth quirked. "Not without checking you out first."

Asshole! "What about as a server?"

"I don't need another server, but I can always use another stripper."

I'm new to this author and I'm really enjoying her writing style; it felt almost visual? If that makes any sense? I felt like I was watching the story unfold (more like a movie) than reading it. Great characters with an interesting and gritty MC story. Highly recommend.

I loved Moody and Bailey...this was such a good story...one thing puzzled me though...a small thing it did not distract from the book...Desert Rebels were the club right? Who was the Desert Devils that at one point Holly was staying at? Was it a typo did I miss something... Hmmm...anyway 5 stars!!!

Moody wanted to stay distant and alone, but the feisty red head behind his bar serving drinks is going to rock his world. He just doesn’t know it yet! Great storyline with twists and turns. Definitely recommend this book!

“Furious” brings us an interesting character. Moody is our third nomad and also a bar owner. He meets Bailey, hired by one of his most trusted employees to help around. What’s his reaction? Fires her. Yup, he fires her. He doesn’t think she’s able to hold her ground in a bad frequented by bikers and other dangerous people. When she is blackmailed to steal something from Moody, they begin a sort of game, in which everyone has to lose. Some their heart, others even more.

The story is very interesting, but what makes it even better is Moody. We know from the other books that he is not the talking kind and he has a past that still bothers him. His issues melted my heart and I have all my respect for him and for what he’s been through. Bailey and her getting involved with the wrong people was a little forced. With Moody’s influence, the situation could have ended a lot faster.

So with all my liking of the characters, I cannot overlook the small flaws we have in the action. Definitely “Furious” is better that “Dangerous”, but it does not come close to “Ruthless”. We see a more reserved biker, one that is afraid of lowering his guard and that is what makes this book special.

4 stars for Book 3 and my appreciation to the author for creating such a beautiful character, with such a great mix of emotions.

This book was written by one of my favorite authors. It was exciting from the first. I've been anticipating this release for months and would love reading about other bikers mentioned in this three part series. Thanks Tory and please keep them coming!

This book was an enjoyable read.
The story was very well written
and held my attention from page one.
Moody and Bailey had loads of great chemistry.
Loads of MC action thrown in the mix.
I would recommend this book to others.

I loved this book! At first I wasn’t overly happy with Moody because he was just so...well, broody. But oh my god then as it went on & I got into his backstory I understood him more. He was possessive & alpha in every way and fell hard for Bailey. This book kept me wrapped up from the very first sentence! I’ve just recently become acquainted with this author & haven’t read all her books yet but I will definitely be reading more. Would recommend both the book & the author!

I have yet to read a book by Tory Richards that I did not enjoy. In the third book of the Nomad Outlaws trilogy we have a moody biker(aptly named Moody) and a fireball aka Bailey, an Irish lass. What's not to love? A clash of wills, a mutual attraction, and danger. What more could you ask for?
I received an arc for my honest review.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Moody❤️❤️❤️

Moody is now my all time favourite of all of TR's guys. All the books in this trilogy were fantastic but this was deffinetly the best one. Moody & Bailey are magic together. The tug and pull of each of there emotions keeps this book one of those that you can't put down. I am just so sad for this trilogy to end but I know she will put out a new MC Romance to keep us going. This book can be a standalone but I highly suggest they be read in order.
