    This was an interesting story and very enjoyable. I look forward to the next one. The tigress and Steve both have interesting backstories and I would like to see what happens with them.

    Mama was an interesting character but was hard to read which I know was on purpose.

    The only other items was that it ended rather abruptly Immediately after a fight and could’ve used a few more chapters.

    Thanks goes to the author for giving me a chance to read and review The Tigress by Susanne Matthews, a paranormal thriller. My opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.

    The Tigress is a fast-paced, action-packed novel that grabbed me and didn't let go until the end. The writing is crisp, the dialogue is authentic, and the plot is outstanding.

    The characters are compelling, and I became vested in them from the beginning. There are a lot of characters in this book, so at times, I needed to slow down and really read closely so I didn't miss something.

    Although the romantic element is not strong, it's nonetheless, fulfilling. The hero and heroine had to depend on each other during life-threatening situations, so they grew close very fast, but still in a believable manner.

    Ms. Matthews is a master at writing suspense-filled thrillers that have me gripping the edge of my seat, waiting to find out what will happen next. She is very much a multi-talented author, whether it's a sweet romance, romantic suspense, or a thriller, she pulls me into her stories.

    It you enjoy novels with plenty of nail-biting action, and don't mind a bit of blood and gore, then you will love The Tigress as much as I did. I look forward to reading the next book in this remarkable series. Happy reading!

    When I picked up this book I expected one of the many clinch paranormal romances, but I'm delighted to say I was wrong. S. Matthews weaves a great and original story in which she created her own breed of superheroes. Justice League, beware! Ellie and Steve make a hell of a team by fighting with and against all the creatures one could imagine. In this book, New Orleans is transformed in a society of humans, vampires, shapeshifters, demons, ghosts, and other fascinating creatures that go bump in the night. The plot is solid, the characters awesome, and I have a feeling this is definitely not the last time we'll hear of Descry. I can't wait for the next Punishers novel!

    Intense, enjoyable read. If you like thrills, chills, magic and gore The Tigress has all that and more. The characters are well-written, Mamma Lou was a nice surprise, and Steve and Ellie make a good team. This book has a super-hero vibe, but filled with magical creatures.
