A Son for the Alien Warrior (Treasured by the Alien Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 4,634 ratings

Can she create a new family with an alien warrior?

On the anniversary of the disappearance of Mariah’s sister and nephew, Mariah returns to their last known location, expecting to find only painful memories. Instead, she encounters an alien spaceship and recklessly sneaks aboard, taking one last chance to be reunited with her family.

The desperate move sends her across the galaxy and straight into the arms of a massive alien warrior who is determined to protect her. But no matter how much she is drawn to him, she will not be distracted from her goal—to find her missing family at all costs.

Years ago, when Captain Cestov and his brother argued over the fate of their dying race, his brother stormed out of his life. He has been searching for him ever since. He never expected his search to lead him to a distant planet, a troubled ranch, and a little boy who calls him Daddy. And he certainly never expected an enticing human female who makes him consider putting down roots for the first time.

Neither Mariah nor Cestov ever thought they would find a permanent home. But can their shared love for a child help them to move on to a new future as a family? Or will the ghosts from their pasts tear them apart?

Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.

About the Author

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of 5. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne - not necessarily in that order.
Her sweet and steamy science fiction stories focus on hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can't resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.

This story had a lot of twists and turns and it really was well done. All the secondary characters like Crew members and Deviji as the cook and child care helper are very good and add so much to the story. The fact that they are both looking for family members and don't get there in time is bittersweet. The little Slonga is super cute and it makes you happy that it all works out in the end. Great story!

After reading and enjoying the first book ‘Mama and the alien warrior’ in this series very much, I decided to read the second story too and this was also a great story.

One year ago Mariah’s older sister Judith and nephew Charlie disappeared without a trace. Her only family left. Mariah’s is sad and desperate to find them. So when on the anniversary of their disappearance Mariah discovers an alien spaceship on the place that they last were seen, she takes the reckless decision to hide on it in the hope of finding answers to the question of where her older sister Judith and nephew Charlie are. Luckily for her she’s discovered by a friendly alien named Kwaret (who’s also a secondary character in the first book) and he helps her find another, friendlier spaceship to search for her sister and nephew. That other spaceship belongs to captain Cestov. Mariah and Cestov may look very different (she’s a human and he’s a Cire, a green-skinned alien with a long tail) but they also share a lot. Both are lonely and desperate to find their last relatives who disappeared without a trace. Crestov’s looking for his twin brother Bratan. Unlike Crestov, Bratan didn’t like the adventures of travelling with a spaceship. He wanted to live on a planet and have a family. Something that’s difficult for the cires race because the Red Death has taken all their females on their home planet. So Crestov thought that what his brother wanted was impossible but his brother thought differently.

From the moment Mariah and Cestov meet, there is chemistry between them, an intense attraction. Both share a passion for travelling, for adventures. Together with the crew of Cestov’s spaceship they begin to search for Judith and Charlie. Their search is successful and Cestov even finds out that his brother has a home on the same planet. But the news isn’t all good and now Mariah and Cestov have to make some tough decisions. But there’s danger too on the planet, can Cestov keep everyone safe?

I don’t want to tell too much of the story, I think it’s more fun it you discover it for yourself. Mariah and Cestov were wonderful characters. Both had a lot in common, both loved the adventure of travelling, they were free spirits but they also loved their family members and they saw them as their home. Their anchor of love. I loved the chemistry between Mariah and Cestov. Cestov may act tough but he hide a gentle heart. You could see it with his crew too. He was very patient with them. Just like in the first story, where the male character had a tail, that was also the case here, it made for some fun scenes and it was also very active in the bedroom. The sex scenes were steamy. But the story was also sweet, there was an alien female animal, a Slonga, who gave birth on the spaceship. The little animals were so cute, especially the smallest one. There were also some emotional scenes when both discovered what happened to their sister and brother. The story was told from both POV’s. I’m glad that in the end the writer gave Cestov and Mariah a new life that fitted their personality and their family. I loved the epilogue.

The secondary characters were great too. You had the crew members of Cestov’s spaceship, Maldost, Plovac, Sevisa and Whovian. They were interesting characters, each from a different alien race and with their own past and personality. I liked it that they too found a new life that suited them. The planet where they ended on was a friendly one (well except for that one bad person). Devoji was a young and friendly Granican, she was a great support to Mariah and Destov, just like her brother Devorat.

‘A son for the warrior’ is a sweet, steamy, funny and emotional story. It’s easy to read story. I’m enjoying this alien series. I will definitely read more books of this series.

I like this author, but I stopped reading the book for a while because I don't like characters jumping into bed almost right away. If I'm reading a romance, I want some romance before the bed scene. That said, I did go back and finished the story but, again I was saddened by what happened to the brother and sister. I guess this was not one of my favorite books by this author. I am going to read the next book in the series.

"Son for the Alien Warrior" takes readers on a gripping journey alongside Mariah, who embarks on a determined quest to rescue her abducted sister and nephew. Along the way, she crosses paths with Cestov, a Cires alien Warrior in search of his twin brother. This book beautifully explores the found family trope, delivering a heartwarming and captivating narrative.

One aspect that particularly stood out to me was Mariah's enchanting dance of seven veils, which exuded both sensuality and allure. It added an extra layer of intrigue to her character and the overall story.

While reading Bratan's heartfelt letter to his twin brother Cestov, I found myself moved to tears. The emotional depth and vulnerability portrayed in that scene were truly poignant.

What I loved most about this book was the Cires' unwavering loyalty and protective nature towards those they hold dear. The image of children finding safety and security, with adults who shield and defend them, resonated deeply with me. The theme of found family is expertly depicted throughout the series, transcending the boundaries of race and showcasing its universal appeal.

Overall, "Son for the Alien Warrior" is a pure gem, weaving together elements of adventure, romance, and the power of connection. It's a story that embraces the complexities of relationships and leaves readers with a profound sense of warmth and satisfaction. having a safe place and adults to protect them. I love the found family depicted in this series no matter what race we came from.

The singer Mariah wants to bring flowers to the place, where her sister and her nephew were seen the last time before they disappeared. When she is there, she sees a spaceship and goes secretly on board. She hides and one alien sees her, but doesn't give her away. He tells her, she's on a ship with Vedeckian slavers and in the next spaceport, he smuggles her off board and asks the Captain of the "Wanderer", the Cire Cestov, if he is willing to rescue Mariah. Soon they are very attracted to each other, but Mariah wants to find her sister and nephew and Cestov wants to find his brother.
I loved to read the book. The storyline is full of romance and interesting biographies. The characters are strong willed and empathic. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next installment in this series.
