    So first, this is NOT a romance. I mean, it looks like the story will eventually head that way and Eva and Landon have chemistry but that is not the major story of this book. Mini spoiler: This book does not "end" in this book. It has a mini-resolution but it just leads straight to the next book.
    That said, the book was amazing. All the characters were developed with great detail. I'm invested in about 7 different characters and their lives.
    I would have liked to see more of a love story between Eva and Landon, but hopfully that will come in the next book. (They are in the middle of a war, so I get it, they are busy.)
    Warning to readers: This is not a sexy love story and there is not infidelity per se, as the main characters are not in an official relationship, but both MC's have other sexual relationships in this book. Usually that kind of thing bothers me, but the way the author wrote it in this book makes sense.
    You just have to read it yourself! I'm off to read the next book Variant!

    I really enjoyed reading this book. It is very different from others books I have read by this author. I loved the sci-fi fantasy aspect of this book.

    I am very intrigued by Eva. About her ability. But her character also gets on my nerves sometimes :)) She can be very manipulative, bratty, and also very snooty. I don't particularly care for those traits in people or characters. Eva somehow manages to make all the traits that I don't care for to be very intriguing with her. I want to know more about her. I also am very intrigued by several of the characters that were in this story. Landon being one of them I am most intrigued with and this new "tattoo" he ended up with. I want to know more about that and what effects it will end up having on him. Then there is Eric, Riley, Marik, Gordon, and several others that we met along the way with this story. I just need to know more about all of them and this world that was created. I have so many questions and I need answers!

    I cannot express how much I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed L V Lanes omegaverse books and I looked forward to reading her others series and any books written by her but I was delightfully surprised to find this scifi duet in her canon. For a lover of Dune and romance scifi authors like R Lee Smith and Shae Mills you will not be disappointed here. This duet will keep you on the edge of your seats - it is intense and thrilling. The way the main character, Ava, is treated as a predictive (someone who can predict the future or situations) is just genius - you can really see how she thinks and understand how she is able to predict. I hope there will be more - I loved the world building and the characters in this duet - I want to see Marick and Erics stories now and more of Ava, Brandon and Jax - it is a thrilling ride - I could not put it down.

    This is an action packed sci fi story that I couldn't stop reading. It is one of those books where you can't wait to see what is going happen but you don't want it come to an end either. The characters are an interesting mix of military, techs, and of the course the main female who is a "predictive". I love that aspect of the story, with Eva using her skills to make predictions. And even though her character is a bit of a prima donna through the story you know that she has a big heart and wants to save everyone that she can by using her predictive skills. As usual the author gives us a great story line and world building, some humor to ease the suspense, and a hint of romance. If you like science fiction this book is for you. I can't wait to read the next part of this trilogy.

    An excellent plot and even better character development. By the end of the book I felt very vested in the prime players. Their dialogue and responses felt real, all adding to the enjoyment of the integrated plot. I really hope the author is a fast writer because I would very much like to see the next story.

    The book was filled with persistent action that shifted between a few point of views. Each person filled out The conflict with insights into their thoughts and feelings in a way to give you a holistic view Of their world and relationships.

    It all honesty this is among the top 10 books I’ve read this year of a hundred sci-fi and fantasy novels.

    Eva is predictive. She has the rare ability to predict the future, and yes, she predicted the end of the world.
    She is on a race to save her brother and the mining colony he is protecting. Nothing will stand in her way, not the generals and commanders on New Earth, not even her own senses.

    I enjoyed this read. Eva is a headstrong and opinioned woman. The male leads in this book is fantastic. This is not a romance but there are romantic elements, with strong attraction between the characters.

    I can't wait for the next in this series; hopefully, there will be, as we see Eva and the survivors recolonize a new world.
