About the Author

Ruby O'Connor is a bit of a philodox, and a killjoy. She'd also like to take this opportunity to apologize to Howard Jones. Why is not important. She has lived here and there, learning this and that, and chronicles these adventures as Arizonacolleen on various social media. Proud creator of Sophie Hollander and Minuet Nero so far. Friend, expat, activist, and unique dresser. Ruby does most of her social drinking near her husband and their two dogs in Wexford, Ireland. She's very grateful you bought her novella. Seriously. You have excellent taste, and look really marvelous in that outfit.

    Spellbinding writing, the tenderness that exists between Sully and Lina is expressed so intimately, so innocent and effortless. As the story progresses you see where otherwise ‘normal’ people wouldn’t go to the lengths these do to remain in each other’s presence, the longing and yearning suppressed so deliciously. Delicate but strong, Lina is impressionable and guided by her sense of hunger for the world and her chains; Sullivan so closely guarded that he won’t let anyone in but her. Thoroughly enjoyed this read and have bought all books so far released in Ruby O’Connor’s library. It’s been recommended by me to others and I am car full to do that, but this one is exceptional. Dive into these characters, you will not regret it. Be prepared to be sucked into this new world in all its dark and light mastery!
