Lady Justice and Terror on the Tracks Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 79 ratings

Virtually everything in America relies on computers. The electrical grid, the banking network, and the railroads are prime examples. Hackers employed by our enemies are constantly looking for ways to infiltrate and destroy these systems. In Terror on the Tracks, three terrorists have been sent to Kansas City, the nation’s second largest rail hub, to sabotage the railroad and engulf the city in an environmental disaster. Walt, along with his father, John, and his partner, Kevin, are dragged into the terrorists’ plot and put their lives on the line to snuff out the terrorists’ diabolical plan to destroy the railroad.

I have read many of the books in the Lady Justice series and always know ahead of time that I'm going to enjoy them and have a fun time. As always, Walt and the old-timers come to the rescue and outsmart the criminals. In this case, three terrorists who attempt to cripple the US by attacking the railway system in Kansas city - multiple times. It's a matter of Walt and company being at the right place at the right time. I liked the pictures included in the story, which also helped me to learn some new facts about the railroads and systems.

It should also be mentioned that in many of the author's stories, the ideas and or attacks planned by the bad guys are something real and plausible. In real life, I would hope authorities have plans in place to thwart these kinds of potential catastrophes. Perhaps, they should read all the books in the series.

I did enjoy this story and had a fun time with it. Thank you, Mr. Thornhill. Well done!

I really enjoyed this book. I think it is one of his best books. I knew very little about trains but I learned a lot about them in this book. Walt Williams is such a great character as are all of his friends and relatives. I have read all of the books in this series and have loved every one of them. I have read many of them more than once. They are just that good. God bless this author and his family. They must be really wonderful people and a great family.

I was lucky that I got this book as a free download. Another great book by Robert Thornhill. The series Lady Justice is amazing, 41 books so far in this series and all are great. This book is a little shorter than the other books but it is still just as funny, full of adventure, mystery, fast moving and very entertaining.

Another good story with some danger, terrorists, suspense and a lot of funny scenes. Some crudeness which I could have done without, but it was so much fun to watch the old guys outdo the younger ones at solving crimes.

Walt, his dad John and brother in law Kevin stop Terrorist from blowing up the Kansas City Railroad several times. I enjoyed this volume as I did the 39 before and highly recommend reading.

A lot of coincidence this time. But one does not read these books for literature. I usually go to these, when I have little luck with my downloads. After starting 2 or 3 books that are not promising, you can always turn to Lady Luck, and she gives you a smile !

All I can say is that this is another action packed hit for Robert Thornhill. Add trains and terrorists and before you know it you have excitement overload

Walt, his dad, and Walt's partner Kevin are back in fine form, with brother Mark also putting in an appearance for Homeland security. Jerry is ready with a quirky comment or dreadful joke and this time it is a series of attacks via the railroad system set to undermine the economy and public confidence which mostly demands their attention.

With narrator George Kuch again becoming Walt Williams, the 70 something P.I. telling the story of what happened - always performed perfectly - this is another successful part comic, part thrilling, part thought provoking tale in the Lady Justice series. Always a pleasure to read.

    Great fun, and definitely recommended
