- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2024This book right here was deep. I have so many different feelings and emotions about this book. The book was a great read as all the other books were. The prayers and the scriptures were right on time. Thank you for sharing what so many people are dealing with. I’m so happy it was a great ending for Karius and Darius. I fell so sorry that Vanessa and her siblings had to go through what they went through. They were messed up for life. Mental illness is real.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2024Lakisha always brings the Christian Suspense 🔥🔥she’s incredible the way she lures you in then drop the bomb. I felt so bad for Karis and Darius. They were a beautiful God fearing couple that became the object of obsession of a lunatic. 5 stars across the board for me🙌🏽

- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2020I really enjoyed this book. The plot twists were entertaining and definitely unexpected. The written prayers were so touching. Many of the things written did cause me to examine parts of my own life. Oftentimes we survive and overcome but it IS necessary to go back and search for any nuggets of bitterness or anger. Your book cause me to again add examine parts of my past. Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2021This was a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed. This was my first time reading this author and I was very pleased. It was a great story full of a lot of suspense and dram, not enough to turn you away but enough to keep you engaged. The Pastor seemed so real and full of passion like one would imagine in life, reminded me of my own Pastor. I look forward to reading more.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2020This was a fast paced read for me. It had more vulgar language than one would expect from a "Christian" writer. That was a bit of a turn off but the story was still very good. It was overly preachy at some points by printing the preacher's ENTIRE sermon or bible school lesson! The book would've been much shorter without 6 pages of a sermon or three pages of a prayer. I feel this was used as "filler" to make the story last longer. I've read this author before and this book subject was a departure from her usual. Overall a very good book!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2024I enjoyed this book, anther great read! Can’t wait to start another. This author is simply amazing and incredibly talented.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whoa, what a Twister
LOVED this storyline and the realness of marriage. Loved that mental health was broached yet the couple 'determined' to forgive and fight for their marriage. This book brought me to tears with some of the prayers and scriptural confirmations personal to me!
Can't wait for the author's 'c19 Global Lockdown' book. It'll be a bestseller fo' sho'... x

4.0 out of 5 stars I liked it so much
Covet is a fast moving tale which brings light on many topics, a couple who are not doing so good, the mental aspect of living and faith in God. This is such a fast paced story that has a very well built suspense, it's so magical and at times it's quite heart breaking. The book has some triggering parts, so it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea but I am sure someone looking for a dark and original story will love it so much. I got to know what actually covet is through the story, the language and storytelling is raw, quite deep yet harsh at times. It's definitely a great book because you never know what's ahead! Correct!?
