Throughout the book, the author empathizes and realizes true fear in a world that was once untouchable. For many of us, this was the realization when the virus hit home. And because of that empathy, we survived and thrive with poetry and emotion. This is true power. The power of the human soul to keep living and overcome fear itself. 🦋

If you want thirty poems about fake fear and fake prayers, this is for you.

There is some interesting writing choices but I'm pretty sure one of them is in the "style" of a Taylor Swift song?

Also, this is written as though half of China has died. This isn't Rwanda.

Ms. Behal's collection captures the thoughts and emotions of the people of the world as we all wait and wonder what will happen next, and for how long the human existence will be put on hold.

What an interesting read. I will have to read it a few times to really understand. Not for the faint of heart.
