About the author

Rebecca Benston is the author of a mystery series, The Rona Shively Stories. In addition to mystery, she has also written children's books, books on empowerment, and other ministry tools for teaching small groups.
When she's not writing, she is usually working on women's empowerment projects and other things related to helping others become their best version of themselves. She enjoys helping others overcome the obstacles they face.
Benston is an audiobook junkie and her favorite fiction authors are Lisa Scottoline, Janet Evanovich, and Sarah Strohmeyer. She is inspired by them to write fiction that shows women as feisty, fearless, and fabulous individuals who can handle anything life throws their way. She also loves to read anything inspirational and some of her favorite non-fiction authors include Beth Moore, Elizabeth Gilbert, Lisa Nichols, Joyce Meyer, Francis Chan and many others.
Her belief is that everyone has a story to tell and she hopes to help as many people as possible to tell their stories through her publishing company, Higher Ground Books & Media.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2019What a little gem. Okay you don't get much of a feeling for the main character except she's petite and slightly afraid of her own shadow even though she's a PI. Business has been slow but now all of a sudden she has two cases. A missing iguana (who's not really missing as he's sitting on the code of a dead woman in the owner's house) and a man who wants her to find and take photos of strange goings on. How can she resolve the murder if the police and the householder won't give her any information? What strange goings on will she see?
Well though out and appealed to me
