4.5 out of 5 stars 24 ratings

Kat’s life is out of control. Earth is in the clutches of some unseen force, with something even worse around the corner. In the meantime, Bran, the god she loves, has taken off for Otherworld and has yet to return.

A drink from the cauldron of wisdom and inspiration should have given her something to work with, but whatever she learned has either left her brain or wasn’t there in the first place.

As chaos ensues around her, Kat careens from one place to another, her ability to effect change lost in a sea of doubt. Her destiny lies in the balance, but circumstances keep getting in the way.

But it’s when her memories are stolen, that the threads that held her together unravel. The Fae world is ready and willing to claim her, but are they trustworthy? Her life is about to change in ways she can’t imagine, and if she isn’t careful, she’ll lose all touch with who she is.

Nikki Broadwell is the author of three series that take place in or around Scotland and featuring the Celtic and Norse pantheon of gods and goddesses as well as fantastical and mystical settings and beings. Her themes are the natural world, feminine power, romantic entanglements, and the fight between good and evil.

If you enjoy futuristic, apocalyptic, goddess driven fantasy, time travel and/or paranormal mystery you have come to the right place.

After giving up a successful silk-painting business, Nikki has been writing full time since the early 2000's. And although the cash flowing in from the books is decidedly less, her interest continues.

The only draw back is it's to short.😁 I really enjoyed this another in the series of God's and humans. They have a lot to learn and trouble seems to stalk there every move you sometimes wonder how they'll make it to the next level but what a journey!

I give Kat's Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell, 4 stars.

This book is a good continuation of the story. Throughout the book, Kat mostly feels lost, not remembering who she is or what her destiny is. However, trying to discover these things is not as easy as you would think. Obstacles of all sorts are constantly thrown in her path, and she must decide on her own what to do. Will she do the right thing?

This is book three in the series and you really have to read the first two to fully follow this book. There are a lot of good characters in here. Some you dislike, some need an attitude adjustment, but others you embrace. There are a few whom I really hope to see quite a bit more of in the future. There are many secondary characters in this book and they really are what make this such a wonderful read. The story itself is quite good and interesting too. There are many places Kat travels to, and many things she encounters. Something new is always happening, there is not a moment of boredom. You quite often wonder just what is going on or what will happen next. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

If you are a fan modern fantasy, this book and series is for you.

Kat's Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3)
    By Nikki Broadwell
    5 out of 5 stars

The story Kat's Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell is a wonderful fantasy book. It pulled me in right from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It has an amazing storyline and wonderful characters. The story includes magic and danger. It is entertaining and addictive to read. In this story Kat finds herself lost and trying to find the path that she should be on. Bran, the god who she loves, has not returned and Kat soon finds that her memories have been stolen. Will she get her memories back? Will she reunite with Bran? What is Kat’s destiny? Read this book to find out what happens to Kat. This is a story that has heartbreaking moments and other moments when you wonder what is going to happen next. I found myself turning pages as well as my emotions taking an emotional ride throughout the book. The story is wonderfully detailed and I found myself feeling like I was right there with Kat. I enjoyed reading about many of the other characters that Kat interacts with. Many of them are helpful to her. Then some are only out for themselves. This is a book and series that I would highly recommend reading.

This is the third installment in this series and probably my most favorite. The characters are so well developed that it’s like you are right there with them. I love the plot points and the way this story flips between locations. I can’t wait for the next in the series. Fabulous job! 5 stars.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The authors writing skills are really good and her attention to detail makes the stories that much better. This story has gods, humans and everything in between. The story was brought to life by the characters and I couldn't get enough of them. There is twists and turns that our main character Kat goes through and her life goes haywire. Unsure of where she is going we join her on her journey and it is an interesting one. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.
    Happy Reading!

Kat's Conundrum by Nikki Broadwell was a great third novel in the Raven and Hummingbird series! Very well written, this novel was fast paced at times and slow paced at others. Depending on where Kat was at or what she was doing, time was very fluid in this novel. I enjoyed character development and meeting new characters. I was shocked and surprised at some parts and wanted to cry at others. Great continuation of the series! I highly recommend this novel and can't wait to read the fourth installment of this series!

    4 Stars

Kat’s Conundrum is the third book in the Raven and Hummingbird Series by Nikki Broadwell. After reading Dagda’s Daughter (Book 2), I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and continue the story- and I’m happy to say Ms. Broadwell didn’t let me down- this story is just as captivating as I hoped it would be. With plenty of surprises thrown in to keep me turning the pages.
This is another clever fantasy- with plenty of action, adventure, secrets, Fae, Gods/Goddesses, stolen memories, danger, magic, discovery, emotion, Celtic mythological elements, intrigue, and dramatic developments. As this book continues Katel’s (Kat) story, I would really recommend reading the previous book/s first before starting on this one.
Life has gotten quite complicated for Kat- things seem to be spinning out of control. Powerful forces are at play and she’s caught in the chaos. There is much at stake and she must decide who she can trust. Because, if she thought things were crazy before- life has got a few more surprises in store.
    Wonderful!
    Bring on Book #4!!!

    Thank you, Nikki Broadwell!
