East to follow stand-alone. No editing errors, gratuitous violence or drag-you-down drama.

Compelling storyline with descriptive writing that draws the reader into each scene. Realistic and factual information including photographs. Flexible procedures, actions and reactions. Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and entertaining dialogue.
“Those two boys are worthless as tits on a fish.“

I may re-read this story and look forward to more works by this author.

Another fun read from the Lady Justice Series by Robert Thornhill. It is nice to see Walt and Ox back in action together, though not in the usual setting. The pace moved along nicely and the book was filled with lots of action and mystery. I stayed up way passed my bedtime reading and I especially liked the fact that the author included some nice pictures in the book. You don't have to know the whole series in order to enjoy this book, though it is fun to see how it all began. Can't wait to see what will happen next.

This book is imo one of the best in the series so far. Mayhem is in the make wherever Walt goes, and he makes short work of it ! I love the Luther character, and of course when Daisy showed up, she stole my heart. I always say a little prayer that nothing will happen to the dogs. A dead body more or less, oh well... that is what Walt is for !!! Thank you so much for making your books available at no cost! Poor people like me can now read some good stuff, too.

I really enjoyed this installment of the Lady Justice series. It was nice to catch up with Ox and Judy. This was a relaxing read. While there is a bit of mystery and a little danger, the overall pace is slower. Not boring. Just not danger on top of danger.
I wouldn't mind having a beautiful cave on my property.
The pictures add a special touch to the story.

Having read more than half of the Lady Justice series, I look forward to the next one--every time! Familiar places, historical color, and likeable characters in each book, make for a super read!

I enjoy the friendship between Ox and Judy and Walt and Maggie. Having watched it develop over this series of books it seems to be natural and significant. Walt has a never ending desire for adventure, and he sure finds it, or it finds him. I am never quite sure. Add this book to your satisfying Lady Justice reads. It's a good one.

Well this was another slam dunk by author Robert Thornhill. A fun read sharing Walt and Ox's escapades. I love the way the author blends their cases with wit and humor. Absolutely love the Lady Justice books!

5.0 out of 5 stars "The Ozark Hillbillies."

When Oz inherits a 160 acre farm from a forgotten relative, he invites his old police partner Walt, and wife Maggie to join him, and his wife, Judy, on a holiday trip to view the place. Far nicer than expected, it is not, however, without it's problems.
Another fun story with detective twists as the two sets of friends find that the country can be anything but peaceful. Once again George Kuch narrates, the perfect Walt Williams voice.

This is a series I have thoroughly enjoyed from the first book, every one a pleasure. As is this, book 43. Thank you, Robert Thornhill: long may they continue to be written. Recommended.
