"Which one of my brothers do I kill?"

The coldness of his tone frightened me. He meant it. "I never cheated on you," I whispered hoarsely. A sob escaped me. "I love you."

He pounded the pillow next to my head. "Enough," he snarled with impatience. "I don't want to hear that fucking lie out of your mouth again." Even as he growled the words he kept his voice low so not to wake Ava.

It wasn't a lie, but his tone revealed that he wouldn't believe anything else. That he'd made up his mind a long time ago, and he was too filled with hate and rage now. Ava could very well be his but telling him that wouldn't help right at this moment. He was fueled by alcohol, and another emotion I hadn't seen in him before. A kind of desperation.

"I loved you."Again in the past tense. His tortured whisper broke me. "I. Loved. You." His mouth moved against the side of my neck as he spoke, causing little tingles down my spine.

I felt his hands glide down the side of my barely clad body where he gripped my hips brutally hard. I remembered how good we were together. How every time we'd fucked it had felt as if it was the first time all over again. The excitement, the intense ride to completion had never waned between us. As the hard ridge of his shaft rested against my pelvic bone I thought how easy it would be for Sax to open his pants and just slip into me.

"Fuck…I missed you," came his quiet voice right before he inhaled deeply. "Missed your scent."

"I'm sure you haven't gone without since our breakup."

He stiffened against me, his hands clenching my hips. He pulled back far enough so that I could see the glitter of his eyes glaring down at me. "You're so fucking wrong, Holly. I never considered us over."

    I have fallen, and fallen HARD, for the Desert Rebel MC series. I started with Cole & Raven's story and just kept on reading right on to Demon & Bobbie's story... But I have to say Sax and Billy's story is by far my favorite. I just finished it! All of the stories show strong family & friends relationships along with the hot and steamy romantic relationships. And the turmoil is the club goes through is drew me in. I find myself sad that I'm getting closer to the end of the series... Oh well, I guess I'll just have to do a reread!

    I have loved the Desert Rebels series from book 1 and with each book it just gets better and better. Sax is my all time favorite LOVED IT from page 1 to the ending and really was not ready for it to end. Looking forward to Bull's story and if you are looking for some great MC books I recommend Tory Richards believe me I have gone back and reread them many times.

    I loved this story about Sax and Holly-so many questions answered on why Sax didn’t want children. The story takes us through their struggles while trying to see if they will be able to get past Holly leaving him. Very well written, as always. I can’t wait for Bull to come out in paperback form.

    I’m so glad I got to read this book. Once I get involved and invested into a series, I want to know more. I like how multilayered sax is and how the reader understood him better. I felt bad for holly and while I don’t agree with what she did, I’m glad she understood the ramifications of her decisions. I love how the reader gets to check on the other characters and the foreshadowing of other stories. Lulu better be brewin in the background. Lol. Great entertaining read

Jealous, scheming, lying club girls, chaos and drama, a loving, hot, sexy couple and a dedicated club of brothers. I absolutely loved Sax and Holly’s story ❤️❤️❤️ After being kidnapped and raped Holly breaks off her long term relationship with Sax fearing that her secret will come out and moves away. Now being back home again it’s hard to be around the man she stills loves. Sax, know for his love of playing the instrument he’s named after, pretends he’s not affected being around Holly again. It’s an awesome read learning how they begin their relationship again, they both have hurdles to get over so this time they can build a healthy, honest life together. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎

Holly and Sax story was quite emotional but we finally understand why he didn't want children ' love this series and hope we get a few more stories to add to it. Highly recommended . BUT.
