    Wow this series gets better and better. Arresting the warlord was a roller coaster of a ride. Its a fast paced story involving CeeCee (a Navajo sharman) and Jake Jones (a Colleti Warlord). Its full of action, adventure, romance, steam and laugh out loud, people around you think your crazy moments. One of my favorite parts has to be when they go to the sweat lodge, Its both funny and poetic. This warlord adventure is exactly what i have come to expect from one of Gails books. Eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

    For followers of this series, Cece is practical, strong, and pragmatic. I enjoyed her interactions with Jake, moments of humor and the standard insta-lust once he makes a move. I can’t comment on the realism of the Navajo nation depictions, but it was nice that Zarak didn’t seem to know about everything on earth.

    Why did I take off a star? The physic powers are becoming more Mary Sue, but that’s consistent with prior books. The story is complete, but also clearly a set up for the next couple. I didn’t really feel like Jake had shown why Cece should consider him an equal and become important to her (aside from good sex). Cece was by far the more interesting character and one of the stronger heroines in this series.

Arresting the Warlord was entertainment from the first start of the first chapter when Navaho police officer CeeCee Tsosie made a mistake and pulled over a speeding car belonging to Coletti Warlord Jake Jones. Now starts the battle between CeeCee and Jake.

    If you have read any of Gail Koger’s Coletti Warlord series, you know that the Coletti need mates and female psychics are their perfect match but like in the movies they don’t mate easily. Arresting the Warlord is #11.5 in the series but can be read as a standalone but the whole series is fun to read.

    This was a great read. Loved the mix of characters and personalities. The story has great depth and movement. Every time you think you have reached the end of takes a turn and you still want to be in the ride to see where it's going. I haven't read any of the other stories so I'm looking forward to catching up. Only thing I didn't like was the cliffhanger ending. While you know you story is done you done feel it is complete. However this didn't detract from the story, just annoying.

    A quick and hilarious story. Not much world or relationship building, but definitely a no-nonsense, straight to the point alien/human read. Based on families with strong physic abilities who attract the attention of the Overlord Zarek and his Colletti warriors. I enjoyed the snarky and feisty exchange between the now converted human/Colletti hybrid Jake and his perfect match Cecee who is Navajo cop. Their fiery exchanges had me smiling. While you can assume they had a happy ending as it left you hanging, I am keen to read more from the Dragos/Jones clan and Askole warriors. Look forward to the next book.
