I'm an ex soldier who also spent a number of years in the Middle East working with an Evangelical Christian relief and development organisation.

I never really thought that I'd be a writer. When I joined the Army I was told that my English grammar wasn't good enough for the unit I really wanted to join (The Royal Military Police) so I ended up working with Helicopters and in a unit where even the troopers had a university education (I didn't even leave school with a decent qualification)

I reckon that a few years in the Army, and then going to the Middle East working with a relief and development group kind of gives a unique perspective on things. I reckon it's reflected in my writing. An ability to 'look behind what's happening and give a unique perspective reflected in the stories I write.

So far, most of the stories are the military action adventure type of stories that people enjoy, but there are a couple that raise some challenging questions to think about.

Fast-paced, action-packed thriller with the Scorpion team "hiding"after the rescue in Iran.

What was supposed to be time to relax and ended with the team dealing with the Triads and drugs.

    Good twist at the end.

The book was exciting and fun to read. Good, quick read.

Overall I enjoyed these two books, but I dont think I will continue. The whole thing of a team is that they train together and know their timings and movements. They train extensively. Don't see how a team members love interest is going to be covering them or doing entries with them. A little far fetched but it is a book.

Didnt care for the frequent exclamation points, but maybe I am nitpicking

Nice action from down under. Some good characters, & storyline . A little redundant in explainations of mechanics & history. Good series.
