Undercover Reaper (Eerie Valley Supernaturals Book 1) Kindle Edition
My name is Faith Ghraves, and I'm a detective in the small town of Eerie Valley, just outside of Los Angeles, California. A few months ago, I started to see the spirits of the recently deceased. On one fateful night, I accidentally touched one and without knowing how sent the spirit to the afterlife.
No one knows my secret because how would I tell them?
Instead, I pretend to be just an average woman with a badge and gun.
There are two cases my partner and I are working. The first is that of a child who's gone missing. The second involves dead strippers. The FBI is also involved. They believe the murders are the work of a twisted serial killer, and they want to use me as bait.
That means going undercover. As a stripper. The prospect is terrifying. Even more scary than seeing the dead. But I never was one to back down from a bad situation.
As we uncover more about each case, it becomes apparent nothing in this town is ordinary, and the supernatural is everywhere.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2020Undercover Reaper is a wild read populated by weird characters and that’s just the human characters let alone the demons and other assorted para characters. The plot is twisted and the town it’s placed in is just as twisted as the plot if not more so.
It all makes for a quick and mostly entertaining read.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2024This was a good introduction to a series. The was a lot of action, some supernatural creatures and interesting characters. It will be interesting to see what all Lucas ends up being in future books, ie the abilities. Hopefully the cat also survived. I enjoyed this book and recommend it.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2025This story NEVER Stops. It immediately turns into another side tale and another,
wrapped with the main theme circling around and underneath the side stories! You follow on and on, actually never wanting to put the book down and when you get to the end... ( I already have the next book) But need to rest a bit. Almost reluctant to jump back in knowing the intensity of the theme continues.
It is a definite paranormal. Ok if you don't appreciate that experience you are forewarned. The thing is, you forget about that part and the story
I was actually surprised when paranormal parts showed themselves.
It is Very contagious... You just have to turn the page!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2023Urban fantasy at its best. Reapers are almost never included, so this was very well done! I loved this book and the Mc, it could be a little deeper in detail of feelings and such but overall great. Oh, beware of the cliffhanger though....
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2022I really enjoyed reading this book. Good story, great MC. EXCITING Stories and characters. I look forward to reading the next one.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun trip into confusion
Faith is an undercover cop on the search for a serial killer. However the real story is that no one is whom they appear to be. Faith isn't human and her partner has secrets of his own. It is a whole under world of supernatural who have experimented on to discover their secrets. By the time we start getting answers the book ends. It is a fun read but you wish the world building wasn't left so late.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read.
It seemed to start off slow, but boys is it pick up pace fast.
Good strong characters, decent storyline.
A detective with a secret that seems to be trying to make itself known.
An angel that likes to pop up shirtless and shoeless.
An FBI agent that's WAY more than he seems!
Also a hissy fit of a cat 💖

2.0 out of 5 stars It's ok
I feel like I have not learned anything, this book left me with just to many questions that I struggled to enjoy.I like the angel, this is the second series from this author I have read and why do she keep writing there was a girl and a Angel but the girl don't trust the angel and choices the bad choice bad guy when it's a soul connection with the angel.question of she has his blood do that make him blood related now like father of sire?
