Here is a super collection of 11stories. There is even one called Aliens and Gingerbread. It is a collection of eclectic ideas and all are mistletoe good. I've picked one to share.

Winter Wonder a new collection of stories by independent authors takes the readers on a delightful holiday journey. A sampling of the stories includes experiencing the excitement of time travel with Greg in “How I Was Born 3,000 Years in the Past”, a visit to the mysterious future in “Aliens and Gingerbread”, and even a charming prequel, “Beauty and the Beast”. A continuation of Greg’s story can be found in the series Greg’s Adventures in Time, and more about the Aliens can be found in the eBook Dremiks.

Ten stories and a poem, by nine authors. Each work has its own "cover," with some very good artwork.

The first works are for younger children; the later ones are for middle-grade readers and young adults. Though almost all are fantasy, there's a wide variety: historical, a horse story, a reworking of "Beauty and the Beast."

As in all anthologies, some stories work better than others. Because the stories are linked to novels by the authors, they also introduce readers to the writers' other works. There's a lot of reading here, and readers are sure to find something they'll enjoy.

As this book contains eleven different stories from nine authors it really requires eleven mini reviews. Some stories for the very young ranging up to young adult.A great family read.
“Billy’s Biggest Christmas Party” is a jaunty, rhyming story which young kids will love to join in on the repeated choruses.
“A Camp Hawthorne Christmas” Gifted kids discover a secret at their Christmas camp…
“Christmas with a Legend” an exciting story of time travel to medieval England at Christmas time.
“Sharing the Spotlight” story of a young family with two siblings each working through issues leading up to separate Christmas concerts. One child is autistic but the challenges are there for both kids.
“How I Was Born 3,000 Years in the Past” Greg and his time travelling family, jump back 3,000 years and live with native Indians discovering their lifestyle. History made into fun.
“A Christmas Colt” just two boys are left to spend Christmas at the horse ranch, a kind of boot camp for teens. Great Christmas story for young horse lovers.
“A Book of Wonders” an historic tale based around the antics of Henry VIII’s court at Christmas time.
“A Midsummer Night’s Snow” themed on Beauty and the Beast. An intriguing and descriptive story of a magical winter wonderland.
“Christmas Among the Evergreens” a teen gets dragged to a forest protest on a reservation with her parents, interrupted by visiting her prim and proper grandparents, while she’d rather have gone on a trip with her boyfriend.
“Eye of the Storm” A story based in ancient Greece involving Hermes (son of Zeus) among other Greek gods and their antics leading up to their wintertime festival.
“Aliens and Gingerbread” a teenager lost in space with four adult crewmembers, mysteriously separated from their colonising space ship.

This delightful collection of short stories contains something for everyone: mystery, adventure, history - even poetry! Some stories are lighthearted and whimsical; others are more intense. These stories will appeal to a wide age-range of readers - from school-aged children to retirees. This anthology contains characters from book series written by the authors, so if you find a character you love (which you're sure to do!), you can read more books containing that character. Not every story may appeal to you, but - with so much variety - you're sure to find several you love!

This book is a great way to immerse yourself in the holiday season. I was greatly entertained by the charming stories, and one of the best things about this well crafted book was how the collection of stories ranged from poetry to novel excerpts and from children's to teen's to adult level reading but it all tied into the theme of Christmas. Winter Wonder would be a great purchase for anyone who loves reading and Christmas!
