- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2018How excited was I when new Pam of Babylon stories showed up. If you are a regular reader of the series, you will love this. I agree it should be read before Portrait of a Marriage. Both excellent reads for the series. I speed read them as soon as they come out. Keep them coming Suzanne (Linda from Detroit).
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2018I purchase EVERYTHING from the Pam series. This was another short story and fit right in. If your considering purchasing I would buy this again.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2019Unfortunately I had not read “First Sight” first so I was caught in the middle of the beginning of the series & it was a little confusing as to who was with whom for me. I will read “First Sight” then “Pam of Babylon” next to get he full beginning. Other than that, I would have rated this free short story higher.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2019This is a short little snippet in which Pam is writing to someone and giving them a glimpse into her feelings. Can't wait to read more.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2018I loved the short story because it was all about Pam. Sometimes the series is more about other characters. This was in Pam's words and laid out Pam's feelings and thoughts. A must read for the series fans. I loved that it was delivered in diary or journal form.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2022At this stage of the Pam of Babylon game every discerning reader knows this series is nothing more than a good old fashioned soap opera for those who would rather read than watch TV. All the characters are petty, narcissistic, and plainly tstl. Every one of them is selfish, judgemental, and gossiping backstabbers to the nth degree. Not a single one of these people consider monogamy important or faithfulness important. The trading of sexual partners, incest, adultery, and other betrayals are rampant throughout the series. Pam herself is a masochistic Pollyanna and it seems that every single person in her life is a user. It's apparent that she knows this, is hurt by it, yet continues to allow it. The family dynamics of this series is so over the top dysfunctional that I honestly can't justify reading it, except that it's the proverbial train wreck in writing. 🤷🏽♀️ Waiting for the next installment 😂
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2018I received my copy as a gift but this is truly a letter you must read to totally understand the next installment of the series. Excellent novella, lots of insight to the characters and the story line. It was a total shocker to me!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2019Just don't get this at all. The only sane person in that Family is Randys ex partner mother of his daughter. She to thinks it's disgusting to have a baby to her brother.this was such a waste of money.
