I am a huge fan of romantic suspense and Till Justice Is Served had just the right mix of everything I love to make this a 5 star read for me. The characters were well developed and multi-faceted, the romance was filled with tension and sparks and some very hot scenes, and the plot was laid out masterfully to build up to the reveal and subsequent resolution, all done with a heavy dose of realism that made the characters come to life.

I just loved every character that was introduced in this book. Rafe, his brother Luke, his partner Colton, Linc, Beckett…let’s just say there is no shortage of leading alpha-males in this book – and they all deserve their own stories (and soon, please!) I even loved Erin. She was strong, recognized that she needed help and asked for it rather do anything stupid, and even though she was fighting her attraction to Rafe pretty hard, I was totally on board with her actions and thoughts when it came to him.

It’s not often that I finish a book and just want more, but with all the great characters that Jerrie Alexander has created I cannot wait for the next installment in the Killer Affections series and will definitely be putting this series, as well as every other book Ms. Alexander has written, on my must-buy list!

    Ms Alexander has done it again, she's delivered a suspenseful thrillfest that takes the reader deep inside a killer's mind. I absolutely love the way she inserts his or her ;) point of view in this dark, gritty romantic suspense novel. There's a hero (Rafe) who is swoon worthy and a strong heroine who needs a partner, not a savior. Erin is a doll with her sassy attitude:

    "I was the first guy you'd kissed in how long?"
    She thought about her answer. "Maybe a year."
    "Sweet. Now I feel special."
    "Stop or we won't have room in the car for all three of us."
    "Three?"
    "Yeah. You, me and your ego."

    As the book opens, there is a murder and the murderer “did” this for Erin. Erin Brady is a High School counselor and loves her job. But, when she is accused of inappropriate sexual advances and suspected of murder she is at loss on knowing what to do. This is too much for anyone to deal with, but moreover, she has a stalker.

    Rafe Sirilli (30 YO) is home to settle his father’s affairs and he will be on his way. His home town didn’t have a reason for him to stay. Rafe had a twin, Nick, who died from an over dose. That is why Rafe left the military and became an FBI agent and fight the drug cartels so it wouldn’t happen to other families. Then there was his little brother Luke (24 YO), and was on a military black ops mission. Neither son could attend, Rafe undercover and Luke on a mission.

    As Rafe was packing things, he saw his dad's old partner from the Sheriff Department, Jeff Paulenski. Jeff and his wife, Lotty, had adopted Erin and now Jeff needed Rafe’s help. Jeff explained that Erin was in serious trouble and to please consider helping.

    Rafe went to Erin’s apartment and found out that she really was in trouble. He also found out something else. Instead of the two of them disliking each other like they did in High School, they both were attracted to each other.

    As more people were murdered, Rafe and Erin’s passion grew and when they couldn’t stop the feelings they gave into it. Then suddenly Erin is kidnapped and no one can find her, not even Rafe.

    This is the first book in the Killer Affections Series. Rafe Sirilli has to go home to wrap up the estate of his recently deceased father and is asked by a friend of his father's to help out his daughter, who has been implicated in a murder. Erin Brady and Rafe had a love/hate relationship years ago in high school and those emotions haven't diminished much. This is a great suspense filled book and i look forward to reading the next book in the series.

    A romantic suspense with plenty of sexy Agents and a creepy stalker who thinks nothing of murdering those wronging his obsession no matter their age.

    FBI Agent Rafe Sirilli has taken a leave of absence to come back to his hometown to take care of his father's estate after his death. He hasn't been back in a long time due to bad memories. He is not back long before one his father best friends ask him if he could help his adopted daughter who has just been accused of killing one of her students..

    Erin Brady decided to devote her life to helping teens after her horrendous childhood before she was adopted. She is devastated after being accused of something horrible by one the students she counsels at the local high school. She ends up suspended when that student is brutally murdered. With Erin being the number one suspect she reluctantly agrees to letting the man that broke her heart in high school protect her especially when its not long before there is another murder and it becomes obvious the murderer has an obsession with Erin.

    Right from the opening grisly scene we get plenty of time in the killer/stalkers head. We know that Erin is in a lot more danger before Rafe and all the other law enforcement that's brought in do but that didn't take away from the suspense. The chemistry between Rafe and Erin was off the charts.

    There were lots of secondary characters that I hope will be getting their own books in the future. This was a perfect blend of suspense and smoking romance and as always I look forward to more from this author.

Rafe Sirilli very likable alpha male fighting the war on drugs single-handedly until he meets up with Erin who is a High school counselor suspected in sexual advances and murder. They have a past together but nothing real serious. But Rafe will protect Erin no matter what! With a killer on the loose Rafe must protect Erin and not act on the rising passion they both have for each other.
    Believable characters right from the start. Another great suspense romance story from Jerri Alexander! Highly Recommend!
