Desperate for something she can control, she focuses on slaying her sire and enlists Professor Pops to help her save the Society and succeed in the Trials. When all is said and done, her greatest hope is that the man she loves will still be around to love her back.

    While there still seems to be some issues with grammar and typos, it isn't as bad as the first book. It bothers be slightly, since they aren't so bad that I'm able to continue reading these books, but I do hope it isn't a continuing thing. It really is the only complaint I have of the books. This story is amazing!

    Alice and Professor pops work together to save her friends and her king . but will the counsil let her have the trials of three to stop. And can Alice kill the devil ? Or will she doom herself if she does. Can Kade and her find a way to be together ? And what is Kade and why are they both drawn together and is Peter on her side or with the counsel . i look forward to the next book in the series i am reading the box set . which this is the second of the four books .

    Book 2 of the trilogy and so, so good! Yet again another book that I could not stop reading! Interesting characters and their stories kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading to see what would happen next. New additional characters in this book made me want to know their stories as well! I highly recommend any of Rachelle Workman's books!

    I've been thoroughly enjoying this series, the supernatural world is well designed and the characters and romance are great, but it is in dire need of a spell/grammar check. Quite a few obvious typos throughout (e.g. a letter missing on a word, making it a different word) at least four in the last chapter alone, which pulls me out of the story each time.
