Fun book to read! I didn’t start with the first book of this series but jumped right in with this one. While I didn’t know the background stories, the book can function as a stand alone. It’s a pleasant, no stress book.

I don’t usually read historical romance, but I really enjoyed this book. Magnolia wants a family of her own, but she finds it hard to trust. Jay has finally reached a point in his life that he realizes he wants what his friends have found, a happy marriage. I really enjoyed watching these two interact, first through letters and then in person. And best of all, I got my HEA.
