3.6 out of 5 stars 44 ratings

Lips red as rubies, hair dark as night. Drink your true love's blood, become the Vampire, Snow White. Every thousand years the vampire queen selects a new body, always the fairest in the land, and this time she’s chosen Snow White.

Snow must discover how to live with her supernatural changes, hopefully without killing anyone.

__________

Originally the Blood and Snow series was written in a serialized format. A few years later, I grouped them together. Then I updated them and re-released under a new series title: The Seven Magics Academy. But since I receive at least two emails a week asking where to buy one of the original serialized versions, I’m republishing them. Please be aware these aren’t new and they are serialized, which is why each volume is just .99 cents.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FORMAT RELEASED IN THE BLOOD AND SNOW WORLD!

Blood and Snow ~ volume 1

Revenant in Training ~ volume 2

The Vampire Christopher ~ volume 3

Blood Soaked Promises ~ volume 4

*** All four of these volumes have been combined in the title BLOOD AND SNOW. ***

Prey and Magic ~ volume 5

Masquerade’s Moon ~ volume 6

Seal of Gabriel ~ volume 7

Telltale Kisses ~ volume 8

*** All four of these volumes have been combined in the title FATE AND MAGIC. ***

Love Bleeds ~ volume 9

Eye of Abernathy ~ volume 10

Resolved to Rule ~ volume 11

Vampire Ever After ~ volume 12

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

BLOOD AND SNOW is the fairytale retelling of Snow White. She lives in present day Salem, Mass. Her next door neighbors are 7 brothers who've been adopted by an eccentric, older man they call Professor Pops. The series will be told in 12 volumes. I hope you enjoy reading about Snow, the seven brothers, and the gorgeous Hunter, as much as I've enjoyed writing about them.

Another very fast read. I read this novelette in less than four hours, but some of that is because I seriously just want to know how this entire series is going to play out. This story focuses on Snow White learning more about what it means to be a revenant. She discovers her bloodlust in conjunction blossoming feelings for Gabe and her Hunter. In a very short amount of time, she learns that there are more than just vampires in the world. While she is destined to become a vampire, there are others out there that may want to kill her before her transition is complete. In the meantime, she has to try to be a normal teenager by going to school and not feeding on anyone. This book has a rather surprising ending in my opinion. I thought it was very well written and have already started reading the third book in the series.

The second story builds a lot to the story line and learning more about the characters. I gave it 3 stars because I had actually expected more 'training' since it was part of the title. Another fast read that kept pushing me to read more in this series.

Great idea. A little loose around the edges. Still want to read more though. I'm having a hard time with passion, something is missing.

The idea of a Snow White vampire is new and different. What is not new and different are the typos and grammatical errors which are very distracting. Are there no editors or proofreaders left in the world? Does no one care to write quality work? The author needs to find a good editor before she tries to perfect this idea.

Even though I read Blood and Snow 3: The Vampire Christopher first, I thoroughly enjoyed Revenant Training. I'm hooked on RaShelle Workman's modern day world of Snow White (with a vampire twist). I can't wait to read the entire series. It's like a comic book, but without the pictures.

Snow White was bitten by a Hunter Vampire and was turned into a Revenant-not quite human, not quite vampire. In this story, we learn more about how she's going to change, what dangers she faces, and that she's a danger to those she loves. She's a teen approaching her 16th birthday. When that day comes, will she have to face (and fight) the evil vampire queen? As she starts to become more like a vampire, can she keep her blood lust under control? Blood and Snow 2 is equal parts sweet and sexy. I recommend this series for anyone who loves vampire romances (not the sparkly kind) as much as I do.

I was feeling the urge to read something tonight, so I picked up my Kindle and turned to this story. Vampires and fairy-tales are definitely favorites of mine, and I thought this would be really great since it was a combination of the two.
    I was wrong.
I hate to be harsh and mean, but there was nothing about this book that I found appealing. It was basically all of these guys telling a woman she was beautiful, fawning all over her, desiring her, and just being over-the-top in general.
Every other paragraph (note: likely an exaggeration) seemed to be about how hot or sexy guys found the main character Snow to be. The book didn't flow to me, and instead, it came off as cheesy and made me literally roll my eyes at times.
This is just my opinion, however. If other people are out there enjoying it, I will leave them to it, but for me...it just didn't scratch my itch.

Fairy tales and vampires - humor and action - what a story? To visit this incredible world that the author has developed is an experience in itself. Snow is a wonderful heroine who pulls you into her web of fascination and she makes you care about what is going to happen. Will love develop with the guy she dreams about? Will the Vampire Queen win the battle against this young girl? It's a fascinating read written by a wonderful author. I'm so thankful it's a series and we'll get to see more of "Revenant in Training".

5.0 out of 5 stars Second in Blood & Snow Series
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 6, 2012
Let me start off by saying that before you read this, I recommend you read Blood and Snow (Blood and Snow volume 1). Revnant in Training is the second in the series and you'll get far more out of this if you read the books in order. This book continues right on from where the first one left off and the story develops as I had hoped it would. This is a fascinating and original paranormal world that is gradually unfolding, along with the romance. I see difficult choices for the heroine Snow White coming very shortly. Not only is she starting to learn how to protect herself and fight supernatural creatures, but she also has growing romantic problems. Very enjoyable fast read. I'm looking forward to the next instalment in this series.
