A Cowboy Wedding in Scotland: A Cowboy rom-com set in Scotland (Stetsons and Kilts Series Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 29 ratings

EM TAYLOR keeps the Scottish romance coming with a story of love at first sight.

I KISSED HIM! Before we'd even been properly introduced!

Rhona's going to kill me. "Go get my fiancé’s brother from Glasgow airport," she said. "It'll give you some time away from this crazy wedding prep."

More like crazy bride. She deserved every syllable of the moniker "Bridezilla." I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Now, she's going to be even crazier. I thought she was nuts for marrying an American; however, I've discovered the draw. Jake MacAllan is too sexy for his own good, and I can't keep my hands to myself.

Funny, but I never thought I'd settle down. It seems this cowboy has mastered the skill of the rope, but I've been known to be a little hard-headed when it comes to love.

I guess it's time I learn to ride.

Em was born and brought up in the Central Belt of Scotland and still lives there. She was told as a child she had an overactive imagination--as if that is a bad thing. She's traded her dreams of owning her own island, just like George in the Famous Five to hoping to meet her own Mr Darcy one day. But her imagination remains the same.

In the 1st page I started laughing and throughout the book it continued. The characters were quirky and fun to read. This author has a good sense of timing with the humor throughout the book. You want to get to know the characters As the author slowly pills away The layers of each character. I really enjoyed the story and look forward to more from this author

    *giggles*

    Okay, umm – hold on.

    *giggle*

Sorry, sorry – pull yourself together, Laura!

Right, apologies. I can adult, honestly.

I admit I was a bit starry eyed over Cole in book #1, but oh my days, his little brother, Jake, has completely stolen my heart in book #2. He is the perfect mix of sexy (and he knows it), cockiness and vulnerability.

Lou cracked me up. She has no brain to mouth filter. I can totally relate; go figure! *snort* Jake has her completely discombobulated plus she has to deal with her Bridezilla bestie, Rhona. All I’ll say is, Jake could discombobulate me anytime *winks*

Jake and Lou each have their own insecurities, but without realising it, they find the strength to face them – together. There are some really touching scenes. Plus, their sexual chemistry is HOT, HOT, HOT!

Full of the author’s signature wit and humour, the stand out scene for me was in the Glasgow kilt shop. Oh, the banter! I nearly wet myself laughing!

“Ladies of Glasgow, watch my swagger.”

Will Cole and Rhona’s wedding go off without a hitch? Will Jake convince Lou he wants more than a holiday fling?

Well, you’ll just have to read it to find out! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait for book #3.

A Cowboy Wedding in Scotland will have you laughing out loud and wanting to say "giddy-up!"
Louise and Jake heated things up from the very beginning of this book and it didn't slow down. I loved the banter and easy conversation between these two but also the awkward moments and conversations. They were so fun to read about and I hope that we will see more of these two in a book about Jake and Cole's sister, in the future. If you're looking for a fun, laugh along and sexy adventure, you will not want to miss this book! Thank you Ms Taylor for another great book!

Book 2 in The Stetsons and Kilts series was definitely worth waiting for. The chemistry between Jake and Louise is evident from their very first meeting. This book had me laughing out loud at the antics between the two of them and it was great to read about Rhona in her Bridezilla phase. Well worth a read and I'd recommend it if your looking for a fun romance with hot cowboys.

I love Em Taylor's lighthearted humor and her snappy wit. This book is full of that plus...a cowboy in a kilt? Bring on the drool bucket! The couple experiences attraction at first sight, and they really pack a lot of fun together into a few short days, all revolving around heroine's BFF's Bridezilla antics. A Bridget-Jones-esque read you'll love!

Loved it,can be read alone or as a part of the series without getting confused but you get to know all the characters. Well written with explanations for Scottish phrases that all readers might not be familiar with and real world references make this a must read.I reviewed this book for TTR's Wicked Words Blog.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!

The second book in this series is just as hilarious and exciting as the first. In A Cowboy Wedding in Scotland we get to meet Cole's younger brother, Jake, and find out more about Rhona's best friend, Louise. It's easy to see that from the first moment they meet at the airport that Louise and Jake are destined to be together. They have such chemistry and are just so damn cute together! It was fantastic to read more about Cole and Rhona, who are the main characters from the first book, and the plans involving their wedding. This is another fantastic book from the lovely Em and if you adore cowboys then definitely get buying this book!!
