    This is a well told story. There are no loose ends. The characters are interesting and believable. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I could feel the emotions of each of the characters. I only wished the father could have confronted all of the people he had hurt. Please keep writing stories like these.

    Sometimes, I just have to read something besides Contemporary romance anything, so I go to Ms. Taylor and see what she's done since I last plunged into Historical. I was NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED! This book was fantastic, and left me wanting my very own Earl. She does not disappoint me in that regard. Besides that, I'm a serious fan of fairy tale retellings and this was one of my favorites.

    Gabriel and Kathleen really entertained with their sweet romance amid the scandal thrust upon them by the Duke. The sex is hot but not quite a passionate as book one in this series. The drama kept my attention and had me speculating the outcome throughout. I recommend this book.

    This book was just as good as the first in the series! I have completely fallen in love with the characters and their plights. The skillful way in which Em weaves fairy tales into regency is amazing. I love the unpredictability as well. The characters in this book come alive, and you can not help but be angry on behalf of Gabriel and how he was treated, and feel the whole range of emotions when considering his family. The portrayal of the loyalty of true friends is wonderful to see. Kathleen is a delight and has a quick wit and sharp mind. I can not wait to see where this series goes, and love the hints at the end of each book as to who the next is about. A great anytime read!

    The Earl of Cindermaine and Miss Roberts are thrown together under exceptional circumstances and although one of them has a secret they are drawn to each other.

    I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
