Editorial Reviews

From the Author

I, like Graham, moved A LOT during elementary school. I moved from Philadelphia, to a small oil town in Alberta, Canada, and then back to the U.S, but this time to New Jersey. By the time I was in High School I had changed schools eight times, which made finding a peer group especially challenging. Pets make a wonderful addition to a family and can be a lifesaver for a lonely kid. In my case, my furry friend was a scrawny black kitten who was loyally by my side for sixteen years. Graham is smart and innovative. Just watch as he comes up with a creative way to ensure that his dog Thunder is able to live out his years by Graham's side.

Let me start by saying I love the inspiration behind this book so much. This is such a sweet book. Thunder and Graham’s bond is spot on for how kids and pets truly are. Thunder helped Graham when he was the new kid and having trouble making new friends. I love all books with animals and this one did not disappoint. I couldn’t recommend this book more!

Such a sweet book. My son loved it. He usually wants to stop reading most books after 10 minutes but he enjoyed it so much he didn't want to put it down.

I really love books, especially children's books, that include animals. This author did not disappoint. Well written and something I would def recommend to families.
