S Courtney is a romance author whose motto is "Love Worth Dying For" There's always a little (lot) of bloodshed for the happily ever after/for now. Her love of writing began in middle school after hours writing until bedtime letting her imagination run wild.

With that imagination she has created her paranormal series, the Bound Series with strong but caring Alphas and independent women with big ambitions and a little magic! And a look inside the tough job of reaping souls to the Underworld in Sandman.

She also tapped into the dark world of motorcycle clubs and the secret life of an mercenary with a curiosity.

She looks forward to writing into other tropes, such as even darker romance, mafia, and sweet almost insta-love.

Another great book and must read! The continuation of the Bound Series falls right in line with the first two books. I can't wait to read book 4!

I am very conflicted about this review because I don't like saying negative things about any book. I know how hard authors work, and how discouraging negativity can be to someone. I am very envious of authors because I have absolutely NO talent for writing, but I am an avid reader. Usually I just won't review a book if I have negative things to say, buy with this book I also have positive things to say so I have to say the bad with the good and hopefully it evens out!

Let me start by saying if I could add a half star, my rating would be 3 1/2 stars, but this book absolutely has the potential to be a 5 star read. First off, this is the first book in this series that I have read, and the first book by this author as well. Secondly, this book would benefit greatly from an editor who knows what they are doing. A lot of simple mistakes are made that throw you out of the story, and the constant switching from 1st to 3rd person is also very jarring to the reading experience. Also there are actually two separate love stories in this book, which can be ok if it's done right, but the transition from each "couple" was not smooth, and actually confusing at times. There is no indication in the blurb about the second couples storyline, and although they intertwine, there is more than enough material to make separate books, which would have been way less murky to wade through.

All that being said, this is just my opinion, and I would NEVER want my opinion to discourage anyone from reading any book. This book was enjoyable, and I didn't at anytime want to stop reading it because of what I didn't like. There is a ton more to like about the storyline, that honestly has the potential to be outstanding if it is just cleaned up and smoothed out a bit. So please, read this book and form your opinion. Mature eyes only due to hot 🔥 Shifter loving!!!

I liked the story but it was all over the place. Couldn't follow very well. Young writer with lots of potential for growth. Keep on writing and growing.
