- Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2021I hate reading books out-of-sequence, but I 'accidentally' read Book 5 before I even knew this was a series. I enjoyed it so much I bought the boxed set...books 1 through 4. They were excellent. Not too much over-the-top totally implausible action (not that there's anything wrong with that), well plotted, and with characterization that drew me in.
The central premise of these spy thrillers takes the position of the Russian side with the American side being represented, yes, but not as the main thrust of the stories. It makes for a very interesting and refreshing perspective. Is it mega accurate? Is it truly realistic? Who knows... but it is a change of pace which made a novel change from the usual template. Well worth the $4.99.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2021The books are a good read, well written and with sustainable characters throughout. Not too dramatic, not too much heroism, just enough to make you enjoy the hours you spend immersed in the stories (box set!). Enjoy!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2022Did not age well given recent Russian aggression. Plots very similar other than geography. OK read, average at best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great technothrillers
Very glad I stumbled onto this series. Just finished the first book, and really enjoyed it. Interesting scenario, the right level of technical detail, and a great twist to show it from the Russian perspective.
