On his first day on the job, his female associates are vying for the attention of the handsome new resident, but Eddie stays focused on taking care of patients. He befriends a lonely old man who is one of his patients. Eddie is the first of the new residents who volunteers to take care of the medical needs of homeless encampments.

    I love Suzanne Jenkins Saints of San Diego series and adore how they have crossed over into these Hot Hunk books. Of course, as soon as I get started, I had to finish because - well, this was Eddies story! This story is everything you would expect from this author, well-told, great character development, and characters that jump right off the page. LOVED Eddie's story and can't wait to gobble up more of these books!

    This is another wonderful installment in the lives of the Saints of San Diego, this time focusing on a different occupation, medical rather than fire fighting. It concentrates on the life of Eddie Kovac, the friend of sorts, of Alison Saint. Their relationship starts out as friends, then friends with benefits and roommates. But when Alison abruptly parts ways with Eddie after graduating from med school, Eddie is left to fend for himself and his broken heart .
    The sequence of events that follow Eddie are what will shape him and lead him to his destiny.
    It’s filled with emotion, heartbreak and redemption. And it’s a testament to forgiveness and healing.
