    This is the first time reading these stories, since they are republished. I am so glad to find them. I loved the first book and now I love this one also. I can't wait for more.
    This is a story of the McKinnon brothers curse from a long time ago. Izzy heard about the story of the cursed brothers, but didn't think it was true. She was having dreams her whole life about someone and never found the same feelings with anyone else. Her father's rental had a fire and she wanted to find out who caused it.
    Even though this i;s a second book, they can be read alone, although I think you would want to start from the beginning. I love that Izzy is a little on the Goth side and Ian is from a time that has never seen things like that. They have a great chemistry together. There is humor at the differences.
    I can't wait for the next one to be released. You won't be disappointed in reading this book.

    I purchased and read this book when it was published a few years ago. This updated, revised version is even better. Izzy is determined to help release Ian from his curse, no matter what the cost to her might be.

    This book is a stand-alone, but I recommend reading the first book in the series (Curse of the Gargoyle) to learn more about the characters.
