About the author

If we have not met yet, I’m delighted to meet you! Here’s a little bit about me…
I have been writing romance novels for almost half my life, well at least for the last 30 years. I’m a diehard romantic and have to confess the broad shoulders and wicked glint in the brilliant green eyes of a stranger had my breath snagging in my breast, my heart beating madly, and my future flashing before my eyes. At the age of seventeen, I’d met the man I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
I write Historical & Contemporary Romance featuring characters that I know so well: hardheaded heroes and feisty heroines! They rarely listen to me and in fact, I think they enjoy messing with my plans for them. Over the years I have learned to listen to them! I have always used family names in my books and love adding bits and pieces of my ancestors and ancestry in them, too!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2013I really enjoyed reading For Love of Flynn ( Irish Western Series) but the book was too short. It left me waiting for the next episode. I suppose that the reader is just allowed to make up the rest of the story or wait for the next book in the series. Actually, I have learned much about my own language heritage from this series of Irish Western books. I am half Irish by birfth, but had no idea that many words I grew up using actually came from the Irish. Thank you C.H. Admirand for these interesting and entertaining books. I anxiously await the next in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2014The story was good but way to short. There is only 5 chapters, that's only 55 pages on a kindle. I think it took me maybe 45 minutes to read the entire book and that's stretching it. There's no middle in the story. There's a beginning and an end. This story should have been more developed or made apart of another novel.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2020I enjoyed this series very much. It was done very correctly with Irish words and characters. C.H. was very eloquent in her writing. The stories were good, eventful, true to time and place. She is a great writer. Love all her books.

I met Flynn in A Gift From Home he was rascal and a good friend. Flynn now has his own story and you get to see another side of him I enjoyed his story. If you like western and romance I recommend this book and all of C.H. Admirand's Irish Western Series.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2013Loved her other books which were a real bargain for $.99 but was disappointed in this one and also it's similarity to Reilly's story.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2016It was good but way to short.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2014I read all the books in this series, and loved them ALL!!! I also liked that they caught you up in the beginning of each new story, by refreshing your memory about how the previous book ended. This series has made a C.H. Admirand fan out of me!!!!
