Kimberly Dean is an author of contemporary and fantasy romance. When taking the Myers-Briggs personality test in high school, Kimberly was rated as an INFJ (Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Judging). This result sent her into a panic, because there were no career paths recommended for the type. Fortunately, it turned out to be well-suited to a writing career. Since receiving that dismal outlook, Kimberly has become an award-winning romance novelist. She was the recipient of an EPPIE award for independently-published authors, and her book, Haunted Hearts, was a finalist in the Romance Writers of America’s RITA contest. EVERLASTING by Kimberly Dean is filled with a lot of sexual content, but it
has a skillful written plot that kept me reading. A haunting romance that will lead the reader into an interesting tale filled with just a touch of suspense.
Once Chevon arrived at the Inn, she suddenly felt as if a presence was with her,
and that she had been guided to the Inn, but by whom or what she couldn’t tell. Could it
be a ghost of someone from her past having a difficult time forgetting her? Things just
weren’t the same since her last visit to the old inn, but something familiar about the place
kept creeping through her mind. She just couldn’t quite figure out what it was. Will
Chevon be able to fight the energy trying to consume her?
One scene that put me on the edge of my seat was when Chevon was driving
through the thick fog trying to find a place to pull over. But the fog had left her so she
couldn’t see that well because the heaviness of it had gathered around the car like a
choking thick haze. I could feel her nervousness as she was trying to look beyond the
whiteness to maybe try and figure out where she was. It was like the fog was trying to eat
the car in order to get to her. Who or what could be out there in the fog that wanted her so bad?
Another incident that made me wonder what was going on was when she was out
walking on the beach and suddenly spied something in the water that suddenly turned
around, after she yelled, toward the land to where she was. That part of the story intrigued
me, and I had to see what was coming up next. What could it be that was trying to reveal
itself to her? Is Chevon in a risky situation? Could her life be threatened? A very good
    read.

A foggy night, a bed and breakfast, the staff staring at her like they knew her. Chevron walked to the edge of the cliffs overlooking the ocean and saw a wan in the water. She knew the water was cold and dangerous so she when down to save him. She did talk him out of the water, he thought she was some one else and on the beach they shared the most incredible sexual experience of her life. She woke up the next morning, he was not there and there was no physical evidence she had left her room the night before.

For months Trey had dreamed of being saved from the ocean by a beautiful lady. When he visits a new property he had purchased he finds his dream girl.

This book is a wonderful story of reincarnation. Trey and Chervon had loved before.

This was an awesome book that you just can't put down! It should be made into a movie. Best book I've read in a long time. A wonderful love story that over the course of time ended beautifully instead of tragically. I have to find more books by this author!

I wasn't so sure about this book from it's description. Describing the h as "naive" threw me off and I almost didn't buy the book because of it, but I'm so glad I did.

The book was much better than I expected. The author managed to include a lot in there, despite it being a short book. I thought she did a great job of keeping the mystery throughout the entire book, and I believed the connection between the H and h enough that I actually wished some flashbacks were included. I really would have liked to read more about Will and Charlotte and their relationship.

The only thing that bothered me enough to not give this book five stars was the lack of background information on the h to understand why her father was so oppressive. I thought some additional insight into her life would have helped. I was also frustrated with her failure to put her foot down with her father earlier than she did. Otherwise, I thought it was a great read.

Boring short story. It was not unpleasant, but I barely remembered it afterwards. . .

Humm... i downloaded this book for free a year ago, but never got to read it. It was a very quick read and there was limited depth. It was reasonably well written but i wouldnt read it again. I gave it 3 stars because the craft is reasonable but it was way too short and weird in some parts and because it was free.

This is a strange tale, at one point you are not sure who is real and who isn't. It has a nice story to it, fairly easy read, but not a five star.
