- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2025I love the way the Bible scriptures help support the points that are made. We often hear about women being abused but not men. This book opened my eyes to a realization that people are suffering from their action of being distant and avoiding (people and situations).
This is a good read. It also helps teach you about forgiveness even when you don't want to but need to.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2025I am very pleasantly surprised. Powerful literature that is spiritually responsible without being unrealistically sanitized. Equally entertaining and edifying. I loved the use of the Word and prayer. Yet and still, I didn't feel preached at but ministered to. I look forward to more from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2025I was so invested in this book I finished it in a day.
I love that the book shines the light on the domestic violence men may endure in relationships. Thumbing through Layton’s feelings exposes the hardships of coming forth! Nevertheless it’s so worth speaking up about.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2023A powerful story dealing with domestic violence/abuse where the abuser is the woman not the man. I enjoyed the author's development of both characters.
The wife comes from an abused upbringing never feeling love and is unable to truly love and the husband., , a minister is torn with giving love, holding to his.faith and maintaining his image as a man and minister.
I recommend it because it shines light on the fact abuse has no boundary. title, profession or gender. It can impact every walk of life including Christian life. The cost is life changing and unfortunately tragic. Ms Robinson, writes from. a Christian viewpoint giving much insight into the power of prayer and the need to have faith.
