Serendipity: Samhain & Sorcery Kindle Edition
At 26 she’s yet to graduate from the esteemed senior academy of witchcraft because she refuses to obey the rules.
A magnet for misadventure, things always go wrong around her.
She doesn’t realise the consequences of talking back to the principal sorcerer until she receives a rather stinging lesson.
Destiny takes Seren on a series of exploits during Samhain and she stumbles through them thanks to a string of happy accidents.
Seren by name. Dippy in nature. Serendipity through fate.
Each Serendipity book is a complete story in the humorous misadventures of Seren Starlight, but there is an arc of mystery and romance which develops throughout this planned eight books series.
Each book coincides with one of the sabbats of the wheel of the year and will be released roughly every six weeks.
Since there is a mild Welsh theme, they are written in British English.
Warning: Contains adult themes.

About the author

Poppy Flynn was born in Buckinghamshire, UK and moved to Wales at eight years old with parents who wanted to live the 'self-sufficiency' lifestyle.
Today she still lives in rural Wales and is married with six children.
Poppy's love of reading and writing stemmed from her parents’ encouragement and the fact that they didn't have a television in the house.
"When you're surrounded by fields, cows and sheep, no neighbours, no TV and the closest tiny village is four miles away, there's a certain limit to your options, but with books your adventures and your horizons are endless."

- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2022I enjoy a bit of fluff now and then however there was no plot to this book. It was a bunch of inuindo string together. Juvenile.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2023This is meant to be a fun, quick read and that's exactly what it is. It made me laugh; it kept me reading. What more do you need? I highly enjoyed this story and do recommend it.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2021I love this first story in a new series. Seren is a young witch who has had a tough life. her parents went missing when she was 10 and she was moved to the academy for witchcraft to live. She is deemed to be careless and frivolous and she is still at the academy long after most students have left. She is lonely and looking for family. I enjoyed this story and I loved Seren and Carrot.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2021This story/series previously started in an anthology which I did not know about when I read the 2nd book, which I LOVED. While waiting for the next book I took the anthology out on KU just to read this story. Once it became available on its own tho I had already read it, I bought it. This series is such an easy and fun read I can't wait to finish the whole series just to start re-reading all over again. Love it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good story
Although this book is a bit short for my taste it's not half-bad, it flows quite well and the characters work I did find the magic quite sketchy but hopefully it gets better in future books. A word of warning the heat level is rather more than I expected although it doesn't detract from the storyline on the whole, not a bad read. Baz.
