Drawing from immaterialism/ subjective idealism and absurdist romantic irony, Lane eloquently challenges the reader to evaluate who the real author is: Lane? Avery? Which leads one to consider their own reality and creator. Whilst considering 10 inch alien appendages. I hope Lane will continue to be the writer for this reader, and continues to push the envelope on romance and SciFi.

    This short story was well written, with beautiful sentence structure and no typos that I found. However, it was too meta for me to really enjoy it. The premise of an author who wrote her own hero into existence was not my favorite. I far prefer her Omegaverse romances. There was no external plot, and it was really too short to contain the great world building that is one of this author’s signatures.

    I found this book to be highly entertaining! How thought provoking! Do we as authors fall in love with our characters? Sometimes. I think this is where series come from. We, like our readers, don't want to let them go. But would I want to write myself into their story and world? For me, I think not. That is for my readers to fantasize about. You see I love both my male and female characters. Their pairing to me is what makes them perfect. For me to have one of my male leads I would have to get rid of one of my girls. No, I love my girls! Can't do it.

    But, this is an interesting concept. Authoring the perfect man for myself; hitting all of my fantasies? Hmmmm. This was well-written, short, detailed, smexy, and original. Highly recommend.

    I can’t help but smile at the thought of this story. It became an instant favorite.

    Avery is a writer who is obsessed with one of the characters in her books. Somehow he comes to life and wants to punish her for all the misery she’s put him through in the adventures she wrote for him. Their relationship goes from hate to love in a series of very sensual encounters.

    This was a short story but it packed quite a punch. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Enthusiastically recommend it.

    Blurring the lines of reality, the relationship between H & h is altered when creation meets creator. This dark and voyeuristic fantasy includes several different settings, multiple descriptions that immerse all the senses, a human writer and an alien with a 10 inch... er, appendage. It is suspenseful, fascinating and has a delicious sexual tension that no fan of this genre should miss.
