Fearing for the child’s safety, Kaitlyn agrees, though she doesn’t have time to notify Russ.
When she arrives with the baby, Russ is surprised but welcomes them both. Then on a trip to buy provisions, Kaitlyn discovers the real reason her friend had to give up the baby, and when the terrible secret is revealed, she’ll lose both Russ and the baby—and possibly her life.

    I highly enjoyed Mail-Order Kaitlyn. The heroine gets backed into helping her friend and ends up in danger. Her groom is a one-in-a-million and with his previous law enforcement experience, he’s got just the right skills to solve the problem. Street smart and savvy, he conducts a better investigation than the professionals, and I liked watching the bad guys underestimate it. There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming, with the real story about the baby coming out bit by bit. Kaitlyn is a wonderful mix of sweet and tenacious, and Russ is a swoonworthy hero. Another excellent story by this author.
