    I loved this continuation of this sci-fi alien romance series with a side of kidnapping and controlled experiments. It was filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love and centered around another oddly matched couple and another cute alien pet. Mina is a human who grew up in foster care and due to unfortunate circumstances, a handsy man and his shady girlfriend she is jobless and homeless. Myk-El is a Letenjan, a winged and feathered alien and a scientist, who was betrayed by his intended mate and his brother many years ago. Both Mina and Myk-El have abandonment, betrayal, rejection, and trust issues. There is attraction and chemistry between Mina and Myk-El but they’ll have to deal with their painful pasts and fears in order to get their HEA. Their issues and internal scars and their resulting choices and behaviors had me feeling all the things. Despite being short, the story was well written, the characters had dimension and the storyline was engaging. The books in this series are standalones but have interconnected plots. While the main story arc was resolved here and the mystery of who brought the couples to thus planet and why is finally resolved to get the most enjoyment, the series should be read in order. I am looking forward to the last book in the series.

    Mina is down and out she is living on the streets under a overpass bridge. It’s so cold but she wakes to more cool on the side of mountain. How did she get here and what happened to her clothes. She finds a woven bag that has strange stuff in it a small square if silver stuff that opens to a blanket and a plastic thing she not to sure of. But she needs to get off this mountain it’s getting colder. As she finding her way off the mountain she find a small crack in the wall of the mountain climbs inside to try to stay warm, when she hears a whimper what she fines is a bird like critter or is it a dragon. After she takes the critter back into her craves it’s so cold she started to fall victim to the cold. That’s when he appears and gets her and she mistakes him as a Angel she thinks she has died. Mikel is look for this little bird he rescued now it’s missing when he finds it it’s being held by a small female that is very cold. After rescuing her she is sick but he nurses her back to health then they need to find out where they stand with each other. But thing will change for them and they will all find out who brought them there and why. So enjoy another good story and find out what is going on!!

    In this book, we find Mina. She is a young lady finally out of foster care, and on her own. But circumstances lead her down a dark path, and she is more alone and destitute then ever.
    Falling asleep under a bridge in freezing weather is not where she thought that she would end up.....

    Miy'Kel , is a Winged scientist that has had some hard times. He is mostly shunned in his village, but deep down, he longs. He longs for a family and love , just like the rest of us.
    These two find themselves thrust into an alien place, and must find a way to move forward together.
    And , of course, that is Not got to be easy !!!
    I enjoyed this book, as i have the rest in this series. I enjoyed seeing couples from the previous books, and how the book flows and little surprises that are thrown in . Also answered some questions of WHY the ," tests" , have taken place. Already can't wait for the next book !!!!

    This is the 4th book in the series and while each couple is a standalone book, the overtaking plot is continued book to book and it’s best read in order. I like that we finally had all the questions being asked since the first book.

    I did not like that the parts of the hero that were non human, were not described well and each time it was described in the same way, so I never got a clear picture. Kinda felt like this book and the third one didn’t have enough of a plot. Kinda seemed like skipping steps.

    I would recommend this book and the series and I plan to read the next book

    I adore Myk-El and Mina together! It isn’t an instantaneous success: there are too many past trust issues to overcome. Mina shows great inner strength by deciding to remain on her own, if that is what’s required to stay. Of the two, I think her resolve is stronger. Myk-El is so undecided. Of course, there is a most delightful creature to lend its assistance when needed most. Many things are explained in this novel; I’m fascinated by the explanations and ongoing projections. And ever so curious about the future of this planet. Definitely a must-read!

    To start off, I do have to say that I liked the previous three books a bit better, that's not to say this one wasn't a lovely read, because it was. I felt like the couple in this book got together a lot quicker than the others, even though I expected them to take longer. There was a lot less pining than in the other books, and, instead of taking a while to get used to eachother, it was mostly about the buildup to saying "I love you". So this wasn't entirely what I expected given this male was supposed to be closed-off or sworn to celibacy (which was hinted at at the beginning I think). I did love the writing (as usual) as well as the ending, we got to know a lot more about the scientists and their purpose! It makes me a bit sad to know there's only one more book though.. But luckily the author has got other work I can check out after I finish this series!

    This has been a great series of human women paired with Alien men on a mysterious planet. Closed and placed there for the purposes of an experiment being conducted my two beings that only share a few thoughts on their experiment and subjects at the end of each book. Now finally at the conclusion of Mina and Mikel’s story we finally have the purpose of the experiment revealed… and one last book to conclude the series with one of the experimenters stepping into the role of being paired with a human female, but without his memories or knowledge of the mission behind his task.
