Soliv Four (Szeqart Prison Planet Series) Kindle Edition
Sentenced to life in prison when they committed no crime...
Promising a new life with a perfectly matched alien mate, a bogus matchmaking agency diverts women to Soliv Four Incarceration and Detention Center Enterprises. Angie was one of those women.
Sentenced to life on a prison world when they committed no crime, Tomak won Angie in a deadly game.
Tomak’s black ops team was sold out for a big payoff. Instead of training for missions, they train for gladiator matches, cage fighting, and competitive hunts for female mates.
Management runs the prison for the money they make by broadcasting the fights and gang rivalries in one endless reality show. They fuel the conflict by adding innocent women into the mix.
Now Tomak must fight to keep his mate. If he refuses, the warden will send them to the underground mines which is Soliv Four’s version of hell.
There must be a way out. They just need to find it.
Warning:This book contains explicit sexual situations, violence and possible triggers and is intended for individuals over 18 years old.

About the author

Clarissa Lake grew up watching Star Trek and reading Marvel Comics. She attended science fiction and fantasy conventions where she met many well known science fiction authors and attended their readings and discussion panels. They included scifi greats Anne McCaffery, CJ Cherry, George RR Martin, Ben Bova, Timothy Zahn, Frederik Pohl, Orson Scot Card.
After years of fruitless efforts to get her books published traditionally, she discovered Kindle Direct Publishing and became an Indie author-publisher.
While she loves scifi, she always thought there should be more romance so she started writing it hot and steamy.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021I almost hated to give this one 5 stars because of the storyline. That was some real messed up stuff happening on the prison planet! How sad that it is totally believable that this kind of corruption could exist. I admired Torak and Angie for their cohesiveness. The world building was amazing. The primary characters are well developed and it’s definitely worth the read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2021This was an interesting read. The concept was intriguing and entertaining and the characters were believable and easy to relate to. I prefer my alien romance to be more alien than the ones in this series but it wasn't a deterrent either. I definitely got hooked on the storyline and will be reading more to find out what happens next.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2020I enjoyed reading this book, it has a good storyline. This story is entertaining, and filled with action and adventure. The chemistry and interaction between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for the next book. I received this book as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2021It was interesting that this story had a little different slant on it than a lot of the other books out there. I will start the next one in a few minutes.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2021I don’t generally like prison planet stories. But this is more like a gladiator story. Strong main characters. Good world building. Although it isn’t a cliff hanger. It is clear the story continues. I can’t wait to read it.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2020Angie thought she was signing up for a matchmaking service, only to discover that instead, she was to be a prize in a horrific game on a prison planet.
Tomak and his team of commandos were sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit. They play the games they have to, but only as far as they want to. When he sees Angie, he knows she’s his fated mate.
A sadistic prison warden, and a prison full of dangerous criminals is no place for her, but what can he do?
This is the first book in a series, and is more erotic romance than sci-fi romance.
The gladiatorial games on the prison planet are horrifying, and very violent, and a lot of the story that wasn’t sexytimes, was about the violence they faced.
The background story, however, is a good one. What placed everyone there, and what they plan to do next is definitely something I’m intrigued to find out!
Recommended for fans of erotic sci-fi romance, or fans of sci-fi romance with a lot of sexytimes!
Three and a half stars! 🌟 🌟 🌟 💫
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2020I have to have more of this book series. It's different and leaves you want to root for the good guys that have been wronged. I await the next book with baited breath. Congratulations on the new series Miss Lake.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2020This was a very good book, that now has me craving more... Very well written, full of action and suspense. The prison story was so well written that I felt like I was there.
Poor Angie, looks for a better life for herself and ends up in prison. Poor Tomak, abandoned by his government on a prison world... Or was he....
I can't wait to see who is next.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily and honestly leaving this review.
